Hello!

There are no support for PC specialities like mouse, AA etc. How come this game is so well rated? is it just because of the console users who just got their first taste of MMORPGs? I don't see anything special in any written material about this game. That is why I have to ask what are the things that rocketed this game to number one, so I can decide if this is worth a try.

Well to be honest the game wasn't really meant to be played with a mouse and keyboard. Most people say they have more fun and better controls when they go out and buy a $20 game controller for their computer, or if they have a 360 they just use that controller. Also I don't know about most PCers out there but AA is the least of my worries, as long as the game is fun. The game has a high rating for a few reasons I imagine:

1. Its brand new on the market. Few people have gotten their copy so few have actually rated it. I imagine after a month or so the rating will drop down to 7.0-7.5.

2. It is actually a really solid mmo. Its different, has lots of action, relatively cheap/month costs, and for when there is any downtime you have what looks to be a great single player mode.

3. Most people that I know who have tried this game end up loving it. I don't know if you will or not. Its not a traditional mmo. You dont have 1 huge world to explore with thousands of other people at one moment. All missions are instanced and you will be performing them with only a few other people. However I will tell you that the fighting system is waaaay better than any mmo on the market.

Well so far in regards to the single player, yes if the authentication server is down you can still play it.  But seems that there are other problems affecting the game that are keeping people from being able to play even the single player version.

I don't think mouse would work well in this game. This is pretty much an action RPG (think Devil may cry or Castlevania) and the keyboard + gamepad works really well (you can customize them at your whim).

The way it is setup is alot like FFXI was in that you would probably want to use a gamepad to get the most out of it on PC anyway.  The great part about PC is easy patching, nicer graphics, and the keyboard for chat.  The game has great rating right now because it just came out, but also because it is alot of fun and a huge break from every single MMO because it is really twitch based action ala devil may cry only dumbed down alot... Different monsters take different strategies and skill.  You have to run around and dodge while fighting etc.  It is a 'sci-fi casual mmo player who likes Japanese culture' s dream.
