Canceling account

in World of Warcraft

I wont be near my computer for 1 month and i have a wow subscription that ends today and i was wondering if its possible to cancel an account and then reactivate it later and what will happen to my account if i do that?

Will i loose any characthers, items or any other stuff?

    hi, in most games you dont lose anything. i would email customer service or call them to see what there policy is. i believe that info can be found on log in screen under account.

    Its fine just cancelling it, and reactivating it when you want to replay. In fact, it is common practise, I have done it a few times. My subscription is cancelled currently but if I want to replay I just need to pay and reactivate easy as that.

    Just cancelled my account.

    Got an email from Blizz stating that my Account's state would remain if I ever desired to return.

    Cancel the account.  You can restart anytime you want without losing anything.  I've done it a few times meself image

    nope, you're chars and stuff will be fine, but its just 15 bucks to leave it subbed.....

    My stuff was still on SWG after 22 months in my merchant tent after  my return from beng prema game banned. I am sure that your stuff should be good for awhile.

    Your characters and items will be fine. I quit the game a few months ago and recently came back to it, in-fact, i know someone who deleted his characters then quit, and when he came back on he got his character back... it was naked though. image

    It's bad enough paying money to play that crap, why pay for it when not using it?::::07::

    The only thing that happens is after 50 days your name is unreserved and can be taken by new people.

    Not sure about the name thing-that may be something new or else just a misunderstanding. But I do know your characters and stuff will be fine. I unsubscribed over a year ago and all my characters are still available according to the website (you can log in to your account even when unsubscribed and start doing a paid character transfer to see what characters are still there-of course, don't actually pay to do it, lol).
