Damn, and I thought wow graphics were kiddie. And why dont I see any humans in any of these screenshots?

As for info:
There are no humans in any screenshots, because they're developing the game by racial pairings. The first being Dwarfs/Greenskins, the second (which they're just now getting to) is Empire/Chaos (humans/evil humans) and the third is High Elves/Dark Elves.
You could at least go to the game's website before posting something like this.
And the whole WoW thing? seriously, it was kind of amusing the first time someone said it, but now it's just kind of silly.

I'm sorry that not everyone can afford top of the line Graphics Cards to run your 1337 clients? And I'm sorry if WAR focos more on gameplay then character textures? By the way, which WoW where you playing? Apparently there's more than one, since this other WoW was pretty hardcore(I never remember seeing vultures pecking at corpses in WoW and yet for some reasons WAR is the more kiddie of the two?)
I I feel I should say "Go [insert action here], nooblette" but you've shown that you cannot gather information from picture or read for said info. I don't know, go figure-paint a picture and hand it to your teacher or something?
This is a fine example of sheer ignorance and pessimism that plagues our society today.
No one's twisting your arm to buy this game and if you think you're going to, don't. This isn't the game for you.

The thing to remember is, lots of people have older computers with standard issue 3D cards, and they represent a large enough portion of gamers that Developers cater to them by making their games less graphically demanding, and in doing so reap greater profit from an increased player base. In order to compensate for the less flashy graphics, they have to make it up by creating a great game in other areas, otherwise risk failure of their game. Take for instance Diablo 2, the graphics were less than super the year it came out in 1999, but to this day tens of thousands of people still play it, single and multiplayer online, because the gameplay is great fun and rewarding, and fun rewarding gameplay trumps graphics.
Other games try for the best graphics possible, but don't buy a game just for looks without knowing whether or not it has substance (watch out for Dark and Light, Soul of the Ultimate Nation, Lineage 2, all beautiful games that are severely flawed in numerous other areas). I love great graphics, all the eye candy and fps, but they are better suited to single player games and consoles.
I don't know if you'd personally prefer ultra-lifelike-realistic character models, I know a lot of people would, but reality is, computer power and internet bandwidth have a ways to go, and consumers have a lot of upgrading to do before this becomes more prevalent. We'll get there. WAR may even have graphical upgrades to character models eventually like DAOC and EQ had after a while. I'm sorry the current WAR graphics aren't doing it for you, I think they are half decent and good representatives of the table top. The important thing to remember is, you'll be staring at your characters back from about 20 feet up and from behind at an angle most of the game, so forget how their faces look, hope their ass looks good in chain mail
Honestly though, this game is about team PVP and strategy and character developement, not about looking better than anything else. If you want hot graphics, check out the 3 games I listed above or go play Final Fantasy.
Of course they are taking the approach to make the game easier on systems to make it accessible to more people. The other approach (making it available only to bleeding edge systems) is bad business for an MMO. Remember, some of the main devs on this game are ex-WoW, and they have the philosophy of making it accessible to people. Not that WAR is going to be like WoW in other ways ... it isn't ... but there's nothing bad about having a game that doesn't require everyone to upgrade their systems in order to play.
