   How many here are considering leaving after the latest controversy about Stradden, SOE and the splitting of the forum into 2 sections?

Im locking this thread. There are plenty of threads currently discussing this.

On a side note if someone has already left I don't think they'll be voting on that poll.

Leave what? SOE, SWG or MMORPG.com?

Any person in their right mind should have left SOE a long, long time ago. Personally, I wouldn't want that company blemishimg my name on a resume. I'd rather have a gap in my work history.

In terms of SWG, the answer is: everyone has already left, with the possible exception of people who somehow still find some sort of entertainment in what is left of a now defunct virtual world.

As far as MMORPG goes...

This site has great things to offer. It's an inlet for upcoming online games to advertise and promote commerce and also an outlet for the MMO player community to talk about all things positve and negative in the industry.

However the people who post on the forums here are still restricted in one way or another. Believe it or not, this is not a public forum. A public forum would entail that we could talk about whatever we want, at whatever time we choose with no form of moderation. You will be hard pressed to find a public forum of any kind on or outside of the internet these days. Rules will apply wherever you go. If what you say does not sit well with the owners of the provided space, then you can expect to be banned, deleted, or removed.

Yes, it sucks. And no, we have no control.

I think if enough of the people I enjoy interacting with leave I’d stop posting here, but I’d still utilize MMORPG for looking into upcoming games.  It’s a well organized site.
