Hello 9D players,

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we prepare to welcome everyone into the world of 9Dragons. We wanted to make sure that we would have a successful launch, so we had to push back our Open Beta date to make sure that the game was ready. In the past few weeks, we’ve been really busy trying to prepare for Open Beta. And now we can finally announce some new planned launch dates. Here is the current plan for 9Dragons Open Beta:

Closed Beta will end Sunday Dec 10 at 11pm PT
9Dragons servers will be shut down from Dec 10 to Dec 18 so we can prepare for the next phase
All Closed Beta accounts will be wiped

Pre Open Beta will start Monday Dec 18
This is the initial phase of OB testing
Open to all registered players

Open Beta will start Wednesday Jan 10
Official Open Beta date
No shut down, just a patch update

Again, thank you for your patience and we look forward to seeing you in 9Dragons soon!

I'm aware that the closed beta characters get wiped, I was just curious
if there was any official word if there'd be any more wipes after that
, that are already scheduled. Not including wipes that arise due to a
massive xp exploit or something.

there will be no wipe after pre-open beta or open beta... unless a major bug or exploit is found.   though, those should have all been removed during the closed beta phase.  so, it is safe to say there will be no wipe

Well the Pre Open Beta date has been pushed TBA.  So everything, pre open and OB, probably wont start for another couple weeks.
