Kill Streak Counter?

It's that red character icon right above the inventory and character buttons. It counts up after certain kills, but what is it really?

It was up to 158 before it reset upon my death. Anyway, does this have a purpose or is it simply a kill counter? I ask because it doesn't always tick up.

It is simply a kill counter and it doesn't go up all the time because you are probably fighting mobs that are to far below your level, but from what I heard, after it reaches one thousand you can click on it and then ull be able to get dragon blood or something(the stuff u use to upgrade ur gear.) If you've ever played Grind Online I mean Hero Online then its similar to that counter without the drawings after every 50 kills.  I also think that the higher the counter the better drops you get because before when I had it fairly high I was getting some good drops and even a few very valuable items, then I died and my drops werent as good but when I got the counter back up higher then I noticed a slight improvement in the drops but this may be mere coincidence.

The counter is something that goes up by one for each kill that you get that isn't on a light blue enemy. Once you reach 999, the counter becomes a button, click it to receive your prize: A blood essence. And, as noticed earlier, your counter resets when you die, so good luck .

I managed to get it to 999, lol. What is the prize for?

^{the prize is the blood essence which is used to "enhance" your weapon pretty much like any other games theres a +1/+2/+3 etc on your weapon adding more dmg you do with your weapon...}

Ah, Blood Essence? Heh, I'm finding those already. They seem to seldom drop, but so far I've found two. In any case, 999 is something to shoot for. Won't be easy however, as my healer can't fight as well as the other roles can. Thanks for the replies.

its simply a counter for the PVP kills you get.  go PKing and see it count up

Where do u PK, hasn't found that place yet, and what lvl are ppls around there?

don't listen to him about pking.  It's a kill counter that's it.  like the others said it goes to 999 then you get an special effect double click on it and you get an free blood essence.  It's not that hard to get to 999, all you have to do is not die.  BE prices have dropped which I'm happy I bought one for 40k in stall.

well the only place i've pvp was in hefei... where u can duel against each other...but i dont think they let you go around PKing everyone...it'll be like south park WoW special lol...that is way too funny

you can PvP in Bloody Plains right now too. anyone who goes there is a target so watch out.
