Well, after 2 months of inactivity i descided to come back to the game, I dont know why but after that time i was longing for the game and my friends in the game. although something has changed dramaticly since i leaft the game,
I logged on to one of my characters and checked my friend list, no one was online anymore. this is Guild Wars Core i´m talking about, And every place i went to in Guild Wars core, it was dead as the grave it self. not a soul to see not a player as long as my screen showed me. And the missions I have left? well forgett them They are not possible to do anymore, or if you want them you´ll have to w8 for like houres!
My question is where are all the old players? Are the expansions so much better then the core system?
Its sad to see this is happening to a game like GW. Cause when new players who only have Original GW system, and see the emty servers, they wont stay for long, Thats my oppinion.
I hope for the classic GW´s sake that ppl will come back and play for awhile.

Yes, the expansions are that much better. That is where the majority of the players currently reside. Your best bet is to find a good PvE guild and see if some of your guildies can help you. All the core missions are very soloable though, so that should not hold you up.
If you still have issues drop me a line and I may switch over for a few this weekend. I still need master in some missions.
If you want to pick up only one of the 2 expansions, get Nightfall.
Tis true it's empty in Prophecies - it's to be expected. I quit however, because most of my friends stopped playing until I was all alone - and there's no fun in that.
