For a long time a played on a free server, so I know the jist of the game.
But what really wanted to know is if the real servers are any different than free.
I know you lvl alot faster in free which was great, but i dont wanna be lvl 10 and it take 3 hours of non stop mob killing to lvl.
Also, is the community alright? Considering its been around so long I thought it wouldnt really expect new people as well.
Thanks for the help ---

The real servers do involve a bit of leveling tedium post-80. However, the new quests they added have very long story arcs with huge rewards; and the new dungeons really take out the tedium more. Unfortunetly there is a bot and elitist problem on the real servers, finding nice people is just like any other old mmo. Very difficult. However, if you are in a central hub like Prontera or LouYang it is a bit easier.
The real servers offer a few things private servers don't. Stable Servers, Unbugged updates, Customer Support, More content since most private servers don't have the processing power to host all the content in an official server. It also lacks that cheapness factor, like /go 1 and there are 50 NPCs selling everything in the game for 10z.
