Digital Download

I paid for the digital download of the game around 10:30 a.m. EST Saturday. I got home tonight around 11:30 p.m. to FINALLY see the patch was done.

I log in and go to play, and the game doesn't work. All I am told is to re-install the game....    How many days do I need to sit and ....never mind. My mistake for thinking SOE might have had their act together.

$75 bucks wasted....

That Guild Wars 2 login screen knocked up my wife. Must be the second coming!

"It doesn't work'? You could be more specific and there might be some help for you.

Also, are you certain you don't have the install files still? Why would you have to reinstall?

I downloaded digitally, but I did it through direct2drive. I'm not sure if the SOE route uses http or LaunchPad, but I'm guessing LaunchPad if you're having to start over.

    Oh well, good luck.

Don't you just love digital download? You never have to mess with those nasty little CDs or DVDs again.

I don't know i kinda like keeping my boxes around to show off my collection. But to the OP i will say this. If you are to ever "Digital Download" something do it from Direct 2 Drive they are the best out there. Sony always has a nasty twist to things for some odd reasons.
