Was just wondering where is the strategy guide release for Vanguard? Or is the manual inside the game that well done? Most online games do have a game guide released by Prima or Brady during launch. Or was Vanguard just not ready yet? They're good to read & learn .

Still being worked on... to quote a Sigil employee (Glip the Gnome) from another forum.....
"We do provide some help with information, but they also do have to play the game a bit. (They were in beta though as well)
All that said, the Prima guide is going to be just that -- a guide. We're making an effort to ensure its full of strategies and hints rather than full on spoilers. "

Was just curious, at least with me, since if I'm still undecided about a game I'll read &/or purchase the guide to learn more of the reference material about a game to get a better clue if I'll like the game. I've been following Vanguard on there old forums a couple of years now, but would only periodically go back & review. I'm a bit surprised there isn't a guide released to coincide with the game's launch. I wonder if that's an indicator about how much the game seems to have been hurried, by what I've read. Also shocked because a guide launched at the same time of a new game would sell more marketing-wise & SOE don't miss many tricks when it comes to marketing. Which again, makes me wonder about the rush to release it before really prepared.
I haven't played Vanguard ... yet, but I bought (2) of the CEs which I might return since unopened based on what I've heard so far & the computer requirements for sure. I'm sure Vanguard will get over it's birthing pains though. Good luck to those of you enjoying it, sorry to those that feel tricked by it. Both sides I bet have legitimate reasons.
I know with the Vanguard CE not allowing the choice of (1) of the (3) ingame cards burns me to where even if I decide to try Vanguard, when returning my CEs I might get a total refund & get (1) regular version of Vanguard. "Set Yourself Free" & "The Only Limits Are Your Own" don't ring so true in Telon if from the get go Sigil & SOE are not allowing decent choices.
Henceforth Vanguard has been brandished EQ3 is that good or bad?
