Best Free mmo

I am looking for a good mmo that i can enjoy, i play wow, i am bored of it after playin since alpha, i have played guild wars lvl to 20 in a day got bored , i want a game different then those, i have tried voyage centry , good game, shot online is ok when i want to play golf, last chance i have played.

 

Ne1 have better idea of a free game that good as those or better?

    Guild wars is not about getting to lvl 20 its about pvp. somehow i doubt u expereince pvp if you only played 1 day... most likely you tried a free trail and did newb stuff.

    Scions of Fate has very limited features like class skills etc. even by korean game standards, I wouldn't recommend it.

    Granado Espada is not in open beta, and cansomeone confirm if it will be f2p ? I thought it was going to be pay2play in the west.



    As far as free games go you could try Shadowbane, Knight Online, PirateKingOnline if you like cartooney anime stuff much better than Scions of Fate.

    yes, not OB yet but will be soon. Granado Espada will be f2p in Singapore. But in west it most likely going to be b2p even b2p+f2p, so far theres no official confirmation.

    Tantra seems fairly decent and it's free now.

    Space cowboy is not bad if you like a space shooter , quite a change from the other stuff .

    EU is a scam - Much like life the major players have up to $100,000 worth of in-game currency and monopolise the game, someone playing for free would be lucky to move around town without having to pay.



    The 2-cents is Scions of Fate. Its not p2p but the item mall helps a lot. Everyone I've encountered doesnt use the item but be ware that the game is a decent grind. As point and clicks go it rocks. If you love instanced partying stick to guild wars but the sheer lack of advancement after lvl 20 scared me away (+I have the best of everything).

    Both are pretty good, or once I get an invite open you can check out Dungeon Runners, it's coming along nicely though still in BETA.

    Trickster as mentioned above, or Maple Story if you want something you can pick up and really run with.

    I dislike Archlord...preset character choices suck -.- you should be able to completely create your character however you want to, even WoW lacks that, course..WoW has cartoon graphics that make things look overly big, perverted programmers that give all the females C and D cups, and 8 million 14 year olds who all farm gold.

    Way to stereotype the whole WoW playerbase.  It's ignorant people like you that piss me off.  Call me a fanboy for all I care, ignorance and irony are bad traits when criticizing a game.

    Make sure you dont play WC3 since that also contain cartoon graphics.. and WoW foolow up the character / enviroment design of WC3 and thats the reason why.

    Endless Ages is a good MMOFPS, it was pay to play but now its' completely free to access everything. This game can be very fun it's just one of the most overlooked MMOs of all time. The jetpacks give you complete freedom in all 3 dimensions wich is very uncommon in an MMO, and the shapeshifting is awsome the variety of monsters you can turn into is greater then any game I've ever played.

    I can't believe no one has mentioned Anarchy Online here yet! Sure, it's kinda dated, and the graphics aren't first-rate, but for a free game it is far from horrid.

    LOTRO, Rift (beta) and WoW (on occasion)

    Till next year march if i remember correctly. The game is good, fun, good content but the community is pretty much piss you off. But still good luck on trying it!

    Also Anarchy Online's interface isn't the most intuitive so the game sure shows its age. Quite sad we don't have any other decent Sci-Fi MMOs be it free or pay : (

    you guys should try shadowbane....one of the best pvp mmorpgs still around and free. It is besides anarchy online probably one of the best free game out there, but i didnt like the pvp system in anarchy online that much so shadowbane is the way to go i think.

    Anarchy Online has a much higher learning curve than any of the current 'true' f2p games, and once you fully understand the differences between the free part ("classic" AO, free to lvl 200) and the p2p portion (expansions Shadowlands, Alien Invasion and Lost Eden, 50 extra levels (20 SL/30 AI), a whole new world to play in, alien motherships, mechs etc.) free AO can almost seem barren by comparison, but id rate it an 7.9/10 nonetheless, since i feel the expansions turn alot of the game into easymode, and I like challenge. And BTW, yes, technically the classic game is only free til next January, but its been free since Dec. of '04, each time only for a year and they've been moving the endpoint forward a year ever since, so if you want to try it I wouldnt worry about the free program ending.

    I personally think silkroad online is the best free game.
