I have been Global Hardware banned from BF2. I do not know why. I am not cheating and I don't know what it causing it. It may have been left over from when Warrock was having problems and the Global Ban Extended to BF2.

I don't know. All I know is that I am no cheater, that makes the game pointless. All I want to do is play FPSs.

Please please help me.

Note #5: The game had a bug though. I did no cheating. The game was War Rock. 90% of the game had a Hardware ban for a couple weeks and they did nothing to fix the issue. It was a very large problem in the game. I know you must have that in your records.

    I honnestly can't understand why such a successfull game as GE is getting published by such a bad company. its like Hanbitsoft didn't even look at the publishers past.

    Hanbitsoft has their money they get licensing fees. K2 makes the money(or not) from publishing.

    I liked War Rock, alot. People say it's a watered down version of BF2, but in all honesty it's better than BF2. It's like they took the best parts of BF2 and the best parts of Counter Strike and made a single game out of them.

    The only reason I'm trying to play BF2 is because I'll be damned if I go back to War Rock after my thread about this not being fixed getting locked and moved to a forum nobody ever checks. There were 5 other players who were having the same problem, several WEEKS after they said the issue was corrected. Think about it, that's just the people who were still lingering around weeks after not being able to play the game. That's alot.

    I liked war rock ok... I didnt think it was better than bf2 thats for sure and it always changed my refresh rate so it gave me headaches when i tried it last time even with my settings set to hardware override. So yeah.

    Read again, he got a Punkbuster ban because the company messed up. That could mean having to re-buy ALL FPS-games with Punkbuster-support.

    For those that dont know: Punkbuster is a system that is suppose to ban & prevent cheaters in SEVERAL games, so because of K2´s mistake the OP is labeled as a cheater & cannot play other FPS-games that use punkbuster. ("Half-Life"-series and "Battlefield"-series are some examples that use Punkbuster).

    Actually even if he buys all the games again hell still be banned wont he? As its a hardware ban that reads all the specifics of your hardware configuration and bans based on that.

    This might be severe but just cant you change internet service providers thus changing your IP. Depending on how hardcore you are that might be a suggestion.

    a friend of mine mentioned something about buying a bank of ip's and cycling through them.  So I imagine it's possible.

    Surprised people even bother with K2 especially after the countless of problems with KO.

    A hardware ban makes a sorta a unique key based on your hardware. If he can't get the error corrected, he probably won't be able to play BF2 till he buys a lot of new hardware or simply a new computer.

    Changing IP's won't help, they ban your mac address which is connected to your hardware.  I've been saying this for years K2 is really bad news, the hackers control their games.  You will be hacked in there games and they won't do a damn thing about it even if you are a paying customer.  They are unprofessional and don't know what customer service is.  Snakey's problem is just one example of their lack of ability to do anything right or give a damn about the customers problem.  They should get his hardware off the ban list for him, its their job.  If he isn't able to resolve it any punkbuster game will give him the same message I would imagine which means no fps's period and that is unacceptable on K2's part.  Good luck man keep raising hell with them hopefully they will see that you are right if they look into K2's past whatsoever.

    Oh no no no.... YOU Misunderstood.

    My IP isn't banned, my game keys aren't banned......

    My Hard Drive, Motherboard, and Ethernet card are banned! FOREVER! It seriously sucks. So, that means even if I build a new computer but want to keep the same HD as a backup or whatever.......... I'm still banned!

    You were right about the company messing up though.
