Any server with a low bot count and a non-farmer screwed up economy?
I am wondering if there is a server that has a non-severe bot problem, and an economy that is not screwed up by farmers.
I wonder if this is even possible on the official servers. (I dont want pserver, since i like stability)

Yeah that makes total sense. Anyways OP, Im on franz supposedly a bot heavy server. I haven't encountered them in any of the hunting areas and dungeons I xp or have xped in except from 12-15 on talking island. Things have changed.

there is alot of bots on all the servers
however most of the servers is not very crowded at all..
Depend on where you live you would like to take a look on Bartz (US) or Franz / Teon (EU)
Regardless what alot of ppl says.. the rest is pretty empty LIONNA too ! .. but some ppl just like to fight a siege 20vs20 !
(sieges can be 500vs500 easy on other servers)
WoW had the right idea, IP ban Chinese connections first, never ask questions later; It's the only way to deal with them properly, keep them out from the very start, then attempt to deal with the few that leak through. Rather than NC's method, wait till it complete degenerates the economy and the game is balancing on death before they actually start making decent attempts.
People hate on private servers, but retail got so bad, i really feel like when NC soft started pressing charges against them the killed of any hope of L2 surviving much longer. I'd rather pay for something else instead of retail, the rates don't bother me, nor does the difficulty in getting equipment, but im not going to pay per month just to play with bots all the time, and watch as the farmer clans take over castles and such. And im not the only one either, thats why L2 is nothing more than a turd stain on the bottom of WoW's shoe right now; I hate WoW, but atleast they care about the state their game is in.

They will never be played again, L2 is a great game, but the chinese took so many dumps on it. it's hard to find the good parts of it anymore. I quit a year ago and i have no intention of playing again; Let the Chinese farm their hearts out and take every castle until everyone else leaves, i hope they all starve.

Im not saying it has a low bot count, but the economy isnt out of whack as badly as some servers. Bartz is insane with bots, however this is where I play now due to population

This is the only time I would recommend playing an illegal server versus the official ones. I have begged NCSoft since release of this game that the bots will control them.

Also, a very good way to make money is through the manor system.... Here.. check this site out www.l2tool.com/mmanor.php ... notice at lvl 31, you can get enria from working the manor system... enria sells for a decent ammount.... (though that is if the reward is set to reward 2)... Anyway, see what's available, see what is used the most, and value, and usually the manor system will generate some good money for you.
Another option is look to join a higher lvl clan's academy. If they like you, they will often help (such as borrow lowby weapons, etc)... there are even quests to get you an armor set.
If this is your highest lvl character on the account, make sure you use the benefits ncsoft provided... such as ways to get a free weapon (I believe)... easy trading, and cheap tradeups. There are also shadow weapons... weapons you can get that is considerably cheaper (cheap), but will only last a certain duration.
These are only a few of the many ways of making money without cheating... play smart, and you'll do well.
Anyway, I'd suggest playing the game the way it's meant to be played.. without cheating... .. those that ebay are the reason bots/farmers exist... Funny that people complain of bots/farmers, yet are willing to ebay.

no way, you might get a few armor's if your lucky worth 40-100k each but if i remember right the lowest D grade wepaon drop is a 1/17234 chance to drop from mobs, so how can that be commen lol? just go to l2wh.com
if it's not what you are looking for, then determine if it's better to sell it, or crush (crystalize it)... don't sell it to the npc stores, as you'll likely get nothing for it. I'd recommend then using those crystals to create soulshot.
unleass you work the market it's gonna be hard as hell to earn adena's and the D grade you can buy in shops, or from player's are still gonna be pretty expensive.
At 40 you have about 1,5m adena if you haden't used any Soulshots/Spirtshouts, Potions and such, and C grade top gear is over 10m up to 30m depening on the gear and server.

depends on server, lvl and also limits you to hunt specific area's, and not all classes can seed equally well, not to mention if you seed the mobs they will drop's nothing but adena's or seal stones ...
but not only that a lot off farmer's buy's em to so depening on server 2 minutes after new seed's has been put up they all gone

they aren't that many ways it's either play the market, get lucky with drops, 60% crafts, enchants or quest's rewards at higher lvl's 6x+... assumning your not making a dwarf, or seeding farmer's mobs you need luck.

farmer's are not the worse problem it's the large % off the L2 population that bot's, so if anyone do start up in L2 find a few bot's and report em all each day for month's and 99% off the time they wont be banned

A. they can't ban people who sit at they bot's because they wisper the GM's back...
well they can detect it esaily
(and no that's not service people just bot up untagged to 78+ and then stops doing it so ncsoft wont touch em gg)
not to mention that walker, can anweser random comment's whenver someone wisper's you.

pretty dead server, and a few others are like it, just pop up on the offical homepage forums, and see people write about it but no respone from Ncsoft off server transfears or merges...
not to mention how far behind we are with the update's and not getting the same event's as they do in Korea for instance the Double Exp,sp,drops weeks witch NCsoft made a offical statement on that we never get wopi du
My recommendation, sadly, is to play retail and go buy adena until you get up into the late 60s and are making enough money to not only offset your shot usage but actually keep some in your pocket.
Other than the adena problem i enjoyed the game, never had any problems with bots or farmers but i only got to lvl 26 tho

At the end of my time in L2 I was sending like 4 pictures a day + movies of the bots including their names, date, time... And all I ever got was some stupid automatic response from NCsoft
"I need to buy adena, cuz it's too hard", i admitted i bought adena and i regreat that i ever did, but i woulden't recommend it
"I have to have top gear, cuz the game is too hard", with crappy gear, you mostly lose the pvp's but what's your point?
"you must bot, because the game is too hard", yep i recommend everyone that want's to play to bot, but i never said it was to hard, it's because most off the population does it, and NCsoft dosen't care about it
"I have to make it to lvl 76 in a few months, or the game is too hard", lol i never said that? i liked the grind...
"I have to be top lvl, or the game is too hard...", again i got no clue ??
"no one wants to clan me, haven't said that either
therefore the game is too hard", etc, etc. - ??

how can you enjoy a game legally when they's more cheaters then legals, and where almost everyone joins in to pvp.
So the legal clan's get they asses kicked even when they 5 to 1 player ratio, they mess up castle siege, they mess up your raid's they mess up your 9 man party's at 50-60 places with 1 lvl 80...

i played lineage 2 for about 3 years and got 3 account's its about 1 month or some weeks ago now that i quit, cause i coulden't stand the botting and i woulden't start to bot...
so what you want people to do? start up in L2 and play legally when NCsoft dosen't care about em?
We are very very luck to live in a day and age where there are litterally hundreds of MMORPGs available for us to choose.
That being said, if you are willing to commit to one of them, you should do it the right way, legally. If it is impossible to get anything done without playing legally I have some good news! Choose a different game! A newer game! A better game! A game where you can play without having to lower yourself to the level of the chinese farmers/botters and players that do illegal things.
Just because there is 1000 assholes playing in your server and 100 nice people, it doesn't mean you need to become an asshole to have fun!
I don't see how you can look at the Prophet class and then say to yourself that this game was not meant to be played with bots.
I don't see how anyone can tell you to roll a dwarf alt to financially support your main, and then condemn RMTing.
I really believe that L2 was designed from the ground up with botting and RMTing in mind. And the fact that this anti-bot/RMT attitude is peculiar to western gamers only reinforces this opinion. Even more so when you consider how much NAL2 admin struggles to enforce the EULA. You start to wonder if ever intended to do so, and if they are only doing so at all to pacify the out cry amongst "legit" western players.
