Isometric MMO lovers, here is a F2P game for ya.

Hey guys, iv recently been playing around with a variety of different games due to being pretty bored and whilst doing so i decided to look for my favorite style of game and thats isometric ones. Now i know some people just simply dislike isometric graphics and that is fine, but i know alot of people love them and so, i figured i would post about Skyblade.

Skyblade is a very interesting game indeed, i did have an international version released but it was poorly run and i never got to play it, but a few days ago i stumbled onto the PH version and though, what the hell ill give it a try and so i did. I must say i am not dissapointed, it gives me such a nostalgic feeling of the old games i used to play, im actually really enjoying it.

The community is great and very accepting of none tagalog speakers, plus most of them speak english anyway and there is an English community. There are plenty of people around and the game itself is very playable, the skills and what not are pretty cool to.

Fair enough this would not be everyones cup ot tea due to the graphics, but for those of us who want a nice free game to play, where you can fly around with huge weapons and take part in good event its great. Last night there where GMS hosting event live on both of the servers and that is somthing i havnt seen in a game for quite some time.

So anyone with an open mind give this a try, make your own descision, i noticed people bashed it on the game list hype meter when they hadnt even played it.

Eh no these mall item games are a joke.  Free isnt free if you want to have fun. Go play Diablo, looks pretty much the same.

Well free is free, because i dont HAVE to buy the items, some of them are useful but not a great deal of them, alot are just pointless extras. So yeah it is free and im havin some fun with it right now, im sure others would and thats what matters.

Its ironic, that F2P games are becoming more complex with innovative features while P2P games are dumbing down to attract casual players. I used to think F2P is a joke, but after trying many of them I have more hope for the F2P market than P2P market.



P2P games cost millions of dollars now, so nobody will take risks trying new ideas. But, F2P games are cheap to produce so developers can be creative and experiment with new ideas.



I hate WoW and LotRO and all the future oversimplified hollywood MMOs. Its a sad state when F2P could be the last hope for new ideas.



Now, if only F2P games would stop using hardcore grinds, childish graphics, and be handled more professionally, then people would take them seriously. None of that requires millions of dollars either, a little QA (quality assurance) goes a long way.



Seeing as how improving F2P games could be a cheaper and more profitable practice than the current trend of dumbing down P2P games, If people keep on hating F2P they may miss out on something great to come.



Sorry for using your thread to rant, but thanks for sharing it. Too many good ideas passing by in unnoticed games.

Yeah the basic attacks arnt really anthing to be amazed at, but the skills are neat and i dunno, i just find the game fun and i figured some others on here would like it to.

The only hard bit is getting used to stating your character and what not, but lik ei said if anyone wants some advice im on the OVERLORD server and my name is Kade.

But like i say, i know the game wont be for everyone, but so far im enjoying it and im shocked at how in touch with the community the GMS are, iv not been in a game where the GMS have actually been there running an avent actually in the game with you.
