Well, I didn't see it posted here separately so I thought I would give it a mention.
There is a rather lengthy video interview with Richard Garriot and a video preview on their Summer Games Preview on the front page.
If this is old news to you I will take your flames with a grin but I found the videos rather intriguing.

I have played every MMO that has ever come out.
That was certainly more informative than the pathetic little snippet G4 put out originally. It was even worth watching. I know better than to take everything Garriott says too seriously, but if he and his team put the essence of what he intends into the game, it will make for a new and different experience. Whether it qualifies as the much fabled and never seen second generation remains to be seen. He's right about one thing though, nothing much has changed gameplay-wise in the last 10 years.
OH and there is no Morgan Webb in this vid, I think Adam Sessler is doing the interview though.
