Droids, the other white meat..err...I mean pets

I left SWG in Feb 07.  May come back some day.  I had a Droid Engineer alternate.

Some questions.

Are droids still capped at LVL 30? 

Are the Beastmaster pets capped at LVL 30? 

Have they bothered to improve Droid Engineer profession at all?

Are there still modules you can make for the droids that are not functional in the NGE? 

Do Entertainers want entertainment droids at all now that they have hollo bands?

Are there any new droid models?

Do the medical droids serve any useful purpose yet in the NGE? (maybe they did I never made them because I heard they didn't).

    Up to level 60 now

    Nope, level 90

    Yes, DE had some improvements with Chapter 5.  Major changes are more likely happen when they do the Droid Commander expertise later in the year.

    Heh, no, but that's because they removed them.

    You can only have 3 holoband members, so a droid could hold another instrument or perform special effects.
    Are there any new droid models?
    Yes, Droideka's, Battle Droids and Mining Droids (Mustafar style)
    Do the medical droids serve any useful purpose yet in the NGE? (maybe they did I never made them because I heard they didn't).
    No, they removed the module.

    I think they can get to 60 now...NOT SURE. They are far and a way better than the droids of the past.

    NO...They can reach full 90! and they are hard to bring down. This is most likley the best Creature Handler system in all of MMORPGs. It is very complex and has great depth!

    Not really...HOWEVER, It has been stated by the DEVs that the DROID COMMANDER profession is on the way. It will be a lot like the BM system.

    To put it simple....

    A new Droid system is on the way and it's gonna kickass!....you will be able to really research and build your droids and they will be powerful Level 90 toons....the new system will make the old system look very weak.

    To put it simple....

    A new Droid system is on the way and it's gonna kickass!....you will be able to really research and build your droids and they will be powerful Level 90 toons....the new system will make the old system look very weak.


    That's nice to hear that SOE's finally fixing/completing/replacing it...considering Droid Engineer was my primary profession...at launch
