What's it like?? (for the beta testers)

I wanted to ask people who were in the closed beta, whats the game like?? I'm heavily into games like flyff and maplestory... how does it compare to those, or is this game more like silk road and guild wars, where it's completely skill based? A like a game where how good your character is, is based on a combination of skills and character build.

The game will probably be skill and build based kinda like CB was.  IMO, CB was not really that fun.  It was only a translated version of Dekaron.  Hopefully OB will be better and with new stuff.

I was in the CB, I cannot really divulge anything beyond that, (Gameplay mechanics, ETC.) due to the nature of the agreement I had to sign to participate, but It was a fun game from what I played, with plenty of potential.

Well in that case, The game was pretty fun, it had a few graphical glitches such as monster gibs getting stuck, invisible textures, and some other minor issues. (I dont have any pics or vids sadly) The only classes I played as were the warrior, and the summoner, but It was soooo long ago I can hardly remember ANYTHING about it. I did like the in game MP3 player, it was fun to be slicing and dicing to my own beat.

But yeah, the game was skill based, see those little swordy things  at the bottom? those were the skill I could use.



Beyond that I don't remember much, Like I said, its been a few months. But I do remember it was skill based, and had three skill trees (If I remember correctly) for each class.



Currently waiting for the open beta!

Well, I liked it. It was alot of fun, basically, if you've ever played RYL/RYL2 then its kinda like it, except on crack lol.

Theres no way it'll make it as a P2P, it's really god awful (see my post).. but like I said as I am not a "free game" player maybe you'd find it acceptable.

 

Find RO2 a lot more fun.

It's nothing new but I wouldn't call it god-awful. I had a good time with it during closed beta and since nothing else is holding my interest I'll probably go back to it for open beta. I personally like it in a "simple mindless fun" sort of way, but if you go in expecting something special you'll be sorely disappointed. It all depends on your gameplay style and what bar you're setting to play it. I certainly wouldn't pay for 2Moons but as a free game it's worth a look-see like any other title.

playing this game will make you crap out butterflies and piss streams of rainbow....its that fun!
