Differnt forms of combat energy to draw from

I was thinknig after writing that post in the WoW being to easy thread about how WoW made melee classes a little more fun to play.  I like the concept of having differnt sources of energy to draw from for each class.  In WoW the Warrior and Rogue both had their own type of energy source to draw from.  One had rage and the other had energy.  Now we could take that a step further and give each class a unique power source to draw from.  The Priest and Paladin could work on some kind of divine favor system getting energy from the gods for doing certain likes like prayers.  Mage types would draw on the energy around them and in the air.  Hunters could use some kind of accuracy metter like in LOTRO.  Druids could draw their power from nature.  The key being they each work in a differnt way instead of having the generic power bar like in LOTRO and EQ2 in perticular.

Well it usually just says mana, it doesnt really say what it draws the mana from though so go ahead and make believe.

I know that heh.  The point is to make a unique regeneration system for each class that goes along with what they are.  Warriors in WoW build it through hitting mobs.  Rogues have a fast regen bar that also runs out quickly.  This is in line with how a rogue would really work.  Now to make up a unique type of way for the power to work for each class and you have something.
