Looks like some devs at SOE are tired of fantasy MMO's also. In development is The Agency
Anyone else heard more about this upcoming MMO?
your arguement is so persuasive, so filled with knowledge and insight. You back up your argument very articulately, with suggestions of improvements and raising examples to glorify your position....oh wait, you didn't

How are you?" -Me
They need to stop hiring horny pre-pubescent kids as artists. I am so sick of these stupid female models.
Its not confirmed for PS3 yet...they said it was a possibility but nothing confirmed.
As for the game itself, I am glad its being released and that it is different from the norm but I can't shake this feeling that SOE will screw it up somehow...

The MMO gaming blog I write for.
The Agency has been confirmed for both the PS3 and PC. They only thing they are unsure of is whether or not PC players and PS3 players will be able to play together.
The Agency is being made by Sony Online Seattle, a division that was formed around 2003 and was immediately put to work on The Agency. The team members in Sony Online Seattle have roots in games like Mythica(Microsoft's cancelled MMO), Dungeon Siege, Ultima Online, Wing Commander, Matrix Online and Asheron’s Call.
The Agency will be fully instanced and you will meet people in towns/lobbies. A payment plan has not been finalized(ie no word on a monthly fee). Currently The Agency is sounding more like a standrad console first person shooter and the reason it is getting the MMO treatment is because it focuses on team play and experience gain.
