i hope that my PC can cope with the new lighting/shadows engine, and that my internet can cope with it in RvR, looks awesome though, i cant wait.

Look as poor as the village screenshot.  If those are supposed to be nxt gen graphics,  then Darkfall is coming out this year.

The chosen picture is a screenshot of a high rendered still image,  not an actual ingame screenshot.   Certainly dosnt loo anything special.

The graphics from War are "poor" compared to WHAT!?

I have taken these screenshots of Dwarves from various games, most are from the company homepage. The last one is not of a dwarf because it is from a game without dwarves. please rank these pictures, on how much you like the graphics, I will afterwards let you know which games they are from.

The 1st pic kind of does, but if that is intended to be a shadow it's very poor (I know I can't do it, yet, but he/she should be able to). Can't wait to see more screenshots as they keep developing .

Darkfall dwarf I believe, I'm with ya that he does look kind of shadowed but he's a bit too far away and the whole picture just looks a little fuzzy for me to tell very well.

kay well my voting goes 4,1,3,2,5, and 6. 3 and 2 look very similar to me but the dwarf in 2 doesn't even look like he's holding the axe at all it just seems to be glued to his hand. 6 gets last even though it's looks pretty nicely rendered it just wasn't a dwarf .

Loved the WAR one (oh surprise, with me following WAR for 1 1/2 Years ), but the one above WAR looks great too. From what game is it?



The first one... I like the Buildings and envoirement, the Dwarf itself looks a bit...weird IMO.



And well...WoW... was that a joke?



And Guild Wars (aka the last Screenshot)...meh. I don't really like the style of it... something's different to the WAR Style, something that I don't like, can't point my finger towards that.



But yeah, never noticed the Shadow on himself at the Warhammer Dwarf either, neat :-)

Isn't it already settled that WAR graphics is ugly and cartoonish, like WOWs and the strong points aren't it's graphical engine, but it's PVP orientation, lack of PVE grind and pure awesomness of chaos.

Conan is the one with great graphics, anything else is pure warboism.

The boat and water in C look amazing, the guy on the other hand really has nothing going for him other than the super cool pirate hat and coat. That's what WoW needs more cool hats and trench coats. D's nicely done but who the hell wears armor without a shirt or at least a bra? could you imagine the chafing that must be going on? No wonder she has that meloncholy smile on her face. Q is just laughable. B is meh I really don't have anything to say about that one. And A is just weird looking. The hair looks like it's just plastered on his head and neck, and those braids aren't looking to helpful either. And whats with that guy next to him? Are those hotpants spray painted on to his skin or are they supposed to be clothes? Other than those facial wrinkles and the butt chin I don't have much to say about A either.

I agree. I'm pretty tired of all pics posted here and people arguing about whatever WAR graphics are better than WoW and/or if they look alike.

Why does everything with this game has to be compared to WoW? Why is it so important to always mention WoW in every thread here?

Regarding the graphics: I don't care if they aren't next generation graphics, as long as they work. If the gameplay is solid and the PvP is good, I'm happy.

If you think this screenshot that appears to have the latest textures and lighting effects (as far as we've seen) looks like WoW, then I guess you're right.  (But you'd have to post a screen from WoW that looks the same to get me to believe you. )

you like AoC, we get it, why not go post on the AoC boards then? i dont feel the need to rush over there and rant on and on that the only videos we've seen of characters moving look terrible and have been editted to try to hide that, or that pvp is going to be button bashing, or that pve raiding will be king, or that its a game dumbed down for the xbox crowd, or that i dont want to grind to max level to pvp, or that the combat will be simplistic and get dull quickly, or that FUncom are terrible. no, i let those that like AoC discuss the game they are looking forward to without trying to convince them that they are wrong.



my opinion is WAR is going to be the game I want to play more. your milage may vary.

Those that say WAR is a WoW clone need to take their heads out of their asses first and breathe deeply, cuz surely the O2 deficit in their blood is affecting their small brains thus reasoning becomes almost impossible.

Also take into account most of the screens posted on the WAR site don't have full video effects & twinks enabled, before rushing to conclusions as usual.
