Game fills a good niche. Worth $5 a month.

I really enjoy this game.  I don't have a lot of time to invest in an MMO so this one is just enough for me.  I've played MXO, GW, and WOW.  Honestly, GW was the best in terms of fun factor for me (very, very addicting), and I would definitely rate GW higher than DR, but I just don't have a lot of time to invest in GW.  On the other hand, DR has that "pickup" mission feel that GW used to have before heros came along.  You can go dungeon running with new people all the time if you want and there's no class favoritism, i.e. no more "LF Monk".  Plus, because it is a classless system, this game has the potential to develop a rich meta-game like GWs has with it's builds.



I did become a member yesterday so I could take advantage of the stackable potions and better weapons and armor.  It was worth the $5.

I agree that the $5.00 is worth the cost. It's very minimal. If your looking for a game to do quick play sessions on this is a great game. I also don't have lots of time to do high end gaming, raids and long dungeon crawls so this game really does well in giving me my quick MMORPG fix I need sometimes. Game play is very simple, graphics are good and though it is free I went with the $5 per month for the extra features and to show my support of the game. (Stackable Potions and Bank Slots and the better loot is worth the money).



Good quality, quick and simple game in my opinion.

This game is just great... I hope NC keeps putting time and money into it. Its a good game to play when you're tired of playing the typical MMO... its got so many features that remind me of other games. Its just a fun game to play.

its free but you can pay  $5 a month and you get access to the best potions and gear

I agree.  DR is a great game to play if you're a casual gamer.  I myself usually play it when I don't have enough time to play LOTRO simply because it's fun, addicting, well built, but does not require huge amounts of time to play.  It's very easy to play at your own rate and easy to log off when you have to... A problem I have with most other MMOs especially when I get the urge to quest, but need to log for work

Completely agree. This game is so much fun and is a nice twist to the occasional hardcore MMO. Awesome game to play when your bored of your main MMO.

Totally agree, the game is good fun.

However i have just cancelled my subscription as the game keeps crashing every 10-20 minutes and i loose my place inside a dungeon, vista keeps fucking it up.

Ya this game is Definately worth the 5 Dollars a month

it has a lot of action and i like the fighting style and the UI is great, it also has some nice humor to it.

its great for partys or by yourself

Well, ya caught me... I pay the $5 a month also, its one of the best MMO deals ever! WoW style graphics, Diablo II style inv., and a fast played Mario party style feel. I have to say its one of the best games you can hop on to vent with a couple of friends to start playing with... you can make it 5 times more fun with talking to people while playing it... hopefully there will be enough members to keep paying so we can get all the cool gizmos and gadgets they have to offer in the future for members.

And the humor in the game is great, very rarely can I laugh in MMOs but this one makes me laugh all the time with the dialog the vendors have and the skill descriptions.

This game is actually fun. It kind of reminds me of Diablo and Dungoen Siege mixed together. This game doesn't hold the weight of like a WOW or Guild Wars but it is a great time filler when you are getting bored with your main MMO game. This game will keep you very busy.

You pay only 5 bucks a month if you choose. I think it is well worth it. I'll be joining as a member today

I was amazed at how much fun DR is. I'd taken a look at it via websites, screencaps and so on, but you have to sit down and play it to find out that it's worth the $5/mth.

The humour  and fast paced killing is such a great way to let off some steam. And the community is generally enjoyable. You get the occassional jerk that wants to ruin it all, but now that they've fixed the /ignore feature I can block them out. Ahhh the peace and quiet.

So I give this game a big thumbs up because it really does deserve it. If others cannot see the fun in this simple hack n' slash game, then it's only their own lose.

Ok quick question?  Am i able to play alone or do you need groups to do everything?  I like to tend to play alone so when i get to lvl 70 in wow and i complete all quest get my pvp gear or what not im pretty much done.  I will go download this in a heartbeat if you can do m ost alone!  iT LOOKS AWESOME
