Missing search function

I noticed today that several posts are getting locked due double posts.
In several parts of the forum like the "General Discussions" department the posting reach the second or third page so fast that it is difficult to keep up.
More annoying is to check a lot of pages if a specific topic is already posted.

To keep double posts low and keeping people happy I would recommend to build in a search function like most other forums already have.

Quite odd: I see the time and the daten and left of it something that appears a field to enter some text that's all I can see.
Below of these are the login and account setting buttons.

yeah that text box is the search string, just enter something there and press enter. Must be some weirdness with the graphics for you as next to it is a GO button on the right hand side and an image saying "search" on it's left.

Correct. That field is the search function and it does at least works. But strange is that the "Search" string and the "Go" button is missing. At least they should add the search function to the menue bar at left also.
