I really don't know how you would do wasd with the game. I really don't. I know it will kill western subs because people are conservative and can't adapt to change. But I really don't see how wasd would work.
Good RTS, and these are almost exclusively Western, are all controlled with PnC. So are most RPGs such as Baldur's Gate, Fallout, Neverwinter Nights, etc. The most advanced MMORPG, Ultima Online, is using mouse interface as well (although not PnC). Maybe some fans of EQ-style MMORPGs are more accustomed to WASD, but it would be nice to have a MMORPG with a more traditional style, even if it is non-Western.
P.S. That being said, it's always nice to have multiple options for control.
Since its more RTS style, WASD-movement wouldnt work nearly as well, besides, you need those keys for activating the various party skills. Asking for WASD is like asking for Dungeon Siege 2, or Diablo, or Loki, to use wasd.
Other than that, I highly recommend checking it out at least, if just to see there are alternatives to standard-fantasy-WoW clone MMO fare.
The depth of this game is amazing, once you understand all that you can do. I have crafted weapons and then enchanted them as well as costumes. Though it took me 3 days to figer out how to do it, now thta I understand the process it's easy.
I almost pissed my pants laughing. The only depth this game has is the depth of constant grind. No lore, no good quests, no deep character development, no social aspect. Most people I meet are leveling being AFK. Great depth indeed.
SotNW could be a great game and devs made a great work on graphics and modelling, but they decided to make it just another grindfest
