IPhone You Too?

How many of you jumped on this IPhone (apnews1.iwon.com//article/20070701/D8Q3NMT00.html) and why...

Do you really have a use/need for one or just wanted the latest and greatest Gadget?

And those that did get it for what ever reason, do you realize it is not fully loaded?

IPhone2 will be out sometime in the next year or so with ALL the Bells and Whistles.

Will you then grab one of those also?

    I think some people got one just because they wanted to stand in line and look geeky.    Steve Wozniak toddled over to his local mall and waited on his Segway.  You can't tell me Apple wouldn't have sent him one if he gave them a call and asked!  The story is a giggle, though.

    nope. Cant stand At&t for a cellphone provider. Stupiest mistake IPhone ever did was just conform to one network carrier. Just another horrible marketing mistake from Apple, IMO

    I love the idea of it, but it is easier to resist than most gadgets because of the coverage and price. Even if I was dying to get one the last thing I would do is stand in line for it.

    no one else would work with apple with their conditions, and At&T is looking to put itself ahead of verizon especially with their PDA phones, Vcast, and mp3 phones which i think is the most significant armory as far as cell phone providers go.

    Apple demanded to do its own tech support outside of AT&T ran by apple, which is why the biggest problem with the iphone so far is that you can't activate it they produced more product then they had support for.

    Not to mention AT&T is the slowest, most unreliable network.

    But hardware wise that thing is a beast.

    i gots me 6 of dem i-phones cause everyone else was gitten em and i wanted be cool like dat.

    yep dats 600 dallals x 6 plus they make me activated dem i phones with 2 year premium contracts fer each one od dem suckas.

    8 gigabytes !, it play movies and videohs and play music and i can buy stuff on it ! just like my 50 dollar samsung phone !

    OHHH DAMMMMMMM that aint right....

    I want an iPhone becuase I carry around three devices all the time, I have my cell, my pda, and my iPod Nano.  Its too much I tell ya.  Anyhow,  would be nice to have it all in one, and the user interface looks great. 

    Oh course living in Canada, I won't be able to get one for a year or more.  :(  All the bugs will be worked out by then though.  :)
