Has anyone played this game Lunia ? sounds interesting.

Iv just been having a look around for some MMORPGS to pass some time with and i stumbled onto http://global.lunia.com/main.asp. At first i though "Oh no its cartoony" but then i watched some videos and read abit about it and it isnt actually that cartoony, its just got a "different" style of graphics.

Now i noticed they describe it as an Arcade MMORPG whoch i thought was just there way to try and advertise it as somthing different, but again i looked into it and the way its controls are set up does make it like an Arcade game. Here is an example:

Attack Monster
A key for basic blow
S key for specialized blow key (varies with different characters).
( Sieg : hit monster and cuases airborne / Eir : fire special magical projectile /
Dainn : charging ‘mana’ gauge / Tia : charing for thrust stab attack)

Down Blow Key
Attack downed or crawling monster with Space Bar key

Now thats very interesting to me, it also says it has mid-air combos and all sorts of stuff like that. Heres another link with some more info.

If anyone has any info on it, or has played it, please leave a post here. Its actually in closed beta atm and is supposed to be going into open beta at some time in July.

You can view some pretty crude videos of it on Youtube, id recommend going to the media section on the main site and watching them, the graphics are actually in a very cool style, i didnt think they where when i first saw the screenshots. Its like 3D/2D works well.

I played it and Imo, it like one of those games like Survival Project and Rakion. Its fun for a while but it doesn't have enough depth to keep you hold you for very long. The game also has a lot of lag issues.

Well thats quite dissapointing tbh. Is it instanced or somthing, can you tell me a little bit more on how the whole thing works. Im still gonna give it a try, just to see how it is. Afterall some people are bound to enjoy it.

I dont mind grinders etc, most games atm dont tend to have much depth to them, it looks more hack n slash to me and iv always enjoyed them alot. The only thing i cant stand is full instancing, it destroys the competitive feel of games imo.

Its sort of like Rakion, You pick a room. When you made it, more people can jump in and do the mission. After you done all of them, you can do them over and over again.
