So when is an North American company gonna pick up this game??? I have been trying to download this game forever and it hasn't been very successful. Hopefully a company will grab this and throw some servers up for us :-)
unfortunately its not as simple and picking up the game and throwing servers on morpho... its gonna take a while for them to bring it over, for download try some HTTP links like upfile or filefront or something like that, its kinda slow, but it ends in less than a day
Clearly it is not that simple... but as far as the basics go yes it is that simple.
A company buys the rights to distribute and market in North America. Once they have the rights of the game designers they begin working on translating and marketing the game for their target audience and so on and so forth.
Is this mmorpg playable yet? I mean is there server where europen players can play?
I have the game client allready, but have been waiting for playable server.

Gonna probably be a couple of weeks yet until Open Beta, but I think that the English speaking servers are still located in the U.S and not Europe.
I have been playing the Chinese version of Perfect World with the English patch. It is by far one of the better free games. It is fully quest driven, non of the mundane grinding of Silk Road, and for that matter that entire game is crap and nothing like Perfect World. The thing that captures this game from the rest is this...1. character cust....2. Mount that fly..and players that fly with wings or without wings..3. marriage system, males can carry females to destinations and gain cerrtian skills, 4. crafting the likes of wow. 5. quests the likes of wow.
I have been hearing a lot about this game as well from some friends of mine I have played various games with. Didn't want to bother with the english patch of the chinese version, am waiting to try the english live version when the open beta is ready.
I deleted this game today, it been what? a month and a half or like two months since the American server aren't back up.

As for the game, nothing so far gameplay wise has really stood out to be better than anything else on the market. The only thing that's been really fun so far is the character creation.
If you go to the games forums,you will see people from all parts of the world are having connect problems......though some aren't. Clearly the game is in beta and not ready for regular sustained play.

Making your character is bad*** part of the whole thing but thats all I say about this game. Thats the only part I liked anyway.
