let me guess you didnt want to deposit so you spend 3 hours doing the worst part of the game then judge the whole game on that. Am i close? You do know sweating is supposed to suck so you deposit.If it was easy noone would deposit and the game would go under.I played it for a few months was just to expensive unless you get lucky and unless you got in at the begining before inflation and xp nerfs its not worth it.Had good ideas could of been so much better but wasnt as bad as you say.
maybe i did go a little overboard but you gotta admit its not the greatest game ever
It's not a game, It's basically a virtual chatroom like second life except targetted towards the rich upper class. It's not really targetted towards gamers who unfortunatly get sucked in by the hype that you can get "large amounts of real money"...

I am a bit ashamed to admit this but one of the crucial things that fascinate me is loots, that with this system may signify some very real IRL change in one's economy.. tho only for someone, the lucky ones, the ones who have invested, ..or me today, or maybe tomorrow
Quite informative is the way you have your balance shown right under your health bar..

Heh... a game for the rich... yet it's free(not really) So I guess this means the rich get tax breaks on virtual property.
Reasons why I don't like this game.
1. Horrible character movement and control. Slow paced, stressful controls, running feels like walking! Camera angle problems, camera sticks.
2. Confusing and non responsive UI interface. The UI for me anyone locks up doesn't respond or crashes.
3. Limited ONE avatar on a account. They should have made it like other MMOs where you can make more characters. Cause what I bassically did I didn't bother changing anything on my avatar I just wanted to see how the game was so I didn't customize the avatar while thinking I could just delete it and create a new one.
4. Account edited on the website... couldn't find where to do it or how to do it. I wanted to change my email close the account possibly make another account. Couldn't do it. So now I have my personal information on the companies website that is just sitting there!
5. The Entropia Universe website is not helpfull at all. Very limited... it's feels like they don't want you to or they don't care about you being able to change or have control of your account information. Contact Support for this that and everything!
Overall a bad an mentally painful experience I wouldn't recommend going through the trouble to even try this game. It's not worth it!
But yeah, it would be nice to have more than one avatar per account.

i love how it seems like every 'omgz, thiz game bites!' thread included inaccurate info about the game. you barely played it. you really dont have the experience to state one way or the other.
thats the thing about this game though, it DOESN'T give you the chance to experience the game unless you come in with a wad of RL cash
The only things you can't experience without alot of money is the high end gameplay....
You really expected you could try Being High end just like that? without any effort.
If you dident try it. You dident try hard enough. Only the things that is priced high you can't try...

I dont care about high-end stuff. I just want to run around and shoot some stuff now and again...
This game does NOT allow that, cause while the ad says RL economy, there is nothing RL economy about the ammo for the guns.
Ammo cannot be produced, it is a heavy expense even if all you wanna do is kill nubi stuff, you will not be able to afford it.
Thats why this game sucks. It sucks your wallet dry.

Oh my god, this is a first for me. I enjoy reading "This game sucks" threads, because I learn more about the games when the fans defend them, even when given only a one liner "This game sucks."
The reason it's a first is that I usually end up cheering for the games' fans. But this time, although I was interested in giving this game a try, I don't think I'll be wasting my time downloading this. My choice is based on the fan(s) of the game and their attitudes.
EU, from what I've read, seems like a decent social game/arena/platform/whatever. But the game's representatives do not seem friendly or helpful at all. I wish this project all the luck in the world and I hope the community improves, because it seems like this would be a great alternative for people seeking a more vanilla Second Life experience.

to read the info. They say that if you need to change
your email you have to contact the support department, theres "My Section" where you can handle all sort of stuff regarding to your account.
running feels like walking? will you run fast if you dont train your running irl? no you wont, same goes with EU
the UI a bit hard to handle with?
why dont you ask help from other players inside the universe?
i think you shouldnt even try to play it if your so lazy that wont read the site carefully or ask from other ppl or test key configurations etc...
Only few representatives of EU community ever visit these pages and when they do, what they mostly see first are threads named like 'this game sucks' or 'dont bother with EU', by ppl who learned much faster and more quickly rewarding leveling in games like WoW. So that understandably tends to create equally rude counterarguments.
Much better way to familiarize oneself with the actually quite helpful and mature EU community is to start browsing Entropia Forum (http://www.entropiaforum.com/), not in any way official forums but by far the most influential.

Well Entropia Universe is not like WoW or other MMO.. There is a Mature Community... No Class, No level up (i mean Assassins class lvl 5), no level up don't need to grind.. and soon will become the mmo with the most beautiful graphic after they moved to Cryengine 2

The game has some weird things but it has a "sandbox feling", but yeah it is expensive, i deposited 10 euros and it lasted me 1 or 2 days, too expensive.
you have to know how to use the money well
I have hunted alot couple of days ( 3-5 days) each day atleast 1 hunt
and 1 hunt is 200 ped worth of ammo, thats minimum
yesterday i had 3 hunts, all with 200 ped of ammo
and i still have loads of money to hunt, i might even have made profit
with some nice markup loots, for example a gun with markup of 150%
oh and i didnt even deposit the money i use
I really dont know why every one just gets the game and then says it sucks
NOTE:Before saying a game sucks try to at leat play the game for a while before saying it sucks
OMG .....who in the name of the Lord have donne such a thing.....i have read all the replays over here and i have play this game 3 hours.......3 hours i have lost from my beutiful life for this thing.......that some it say its Mature Community.
