Roleplayer Guild - Forum Based Roleplay

If you're into play-by-post forum based roleplaying (which I think this subforum is about), I invite you to check out Roleplayer Guild.



We're a new community that just recently hatched a few days ago but already have a good growth rate of quality roleplayers.



The quickest way to understand what we're about is to check out some of our threads directly. Here are some examples of our style of roleplay:

- Fistfight! (arena duel)

- Morlat Death-March (fantasy quest)

- Federal Tactical Paranormal Neutralization Squad (modern/sci-fi based)

I'll give it a look, sure.  This forum is supposed to be about Role Playing discussion, though I've noticed it's used as more of an MMORPG Request forum than anything else.

This is a pretty cool site, I joined, needs more members though, and it needs a little more activity, it seems everything goes by to slowly.

But still seems like fun.

I appreciate the kind words. I was actually worried about being flagged as spam, and even felt off topic posting in a Roleplaying subforum dominated with MMORPG requests.

The pace of forum based roleplaying is never entirely fast because the focus of the game is development, strategic writing, and freeform roleplaying. The forum based roleplaying genre seems to be SATURATED with one-liners and immature posting, and I'd like to establish a more mature roleplaying community with Roleplayer Guild.

Also, keep in mind we only launched last week (July 9th!). About 2 members a day is exceptionally well for a brand new forum from my experience of launching forums and we've been getting some quality roleplayers, which is important and very exciting this early in the game. In fact, I'd suggest checking some newer threads out:

 It's either your cup of tea or it's not. That's completely understandable. I'm open to suggestions as well.

We're growing considerably well and everything is going smoothly. Roleplayer Guild is now currently at over 1,100 posts and 62 members at the moment. The growth has been very satisfying as we're gaining around 20 members a week with a good percentage of registrations sticking around.

At this level of growth and this early on in the community, it would be a good time to come on in and join us.

Pretty crazy. We're sort of exiting the "getting on our own two feet" stage. The launch of RPGuild went really well! If you happen to join, go ahead and tell me who you are.
