A great game

I have to admit, this was pretty fun.  At first i thought it sucked, but i gave the game a chance.  I was really impressed.  Most people play the game for 1 hour then complain about how shitty it is.  After lvl 10 or so, the game really picks up.  Endless quests, and missions.  Its really addicting,  the subjob ability makes it even funner.  So why complain?  Go out and play it, give it at chance, it might just change your mind.

Why would anyone only play it for an hour when the first month is free?  I played for one month, got to lvl 23ish.  But the controls suck, customizations sucks, mobs are all the same, its just boring and a crappy game.  I think the subjob sucks, no one wants to go start all over killing the same lame ass turtles for hours on end again.  And you HAVE to have a subjob or no one will group with you.  Lame.

Actually youre both wrong.  "Funner" isnt even a word at all.  Funnier, or more fun are the only words that are close.

"Funnier" refers to something funny; not to something fun.  "Funner" is a word (an adjective) used for comparison, in which Zerocool032 did not use it.  Or were you kidding?

Look up the word "funner" on Merriam-Webster.com.  It's a word.  As is "wrongly".  And you spelled "grammar" wrong.

Hmm, Merriam Webster doesn't show it as a word if you do a search.  It is listed under Fun as an "inflected form" though.  I guess that means as an altered version of the word.  By itself though funner is not found as a word in Merriam Webster search.  I guess maybe its a superlative?

As for wrongly I realize its a word it just doesn't sound grammatically correct in the sentence, but I could be wrong about that. 

I don't know why I bothered posting on this in the first place as I am just as likely to misspell or misuse words myself.  The one that I am always wanting to say or type is "alot" which as far as I understand is not a word.  I believe its just "a lot" but I always have to catch myself when typing it.

I take it upon myself to save as many people 50 dollars that I can.  Back to grammar...  Funner is NOT a word at all, its not listed as a word in the dictionary.  Try opening Microsoft Word or Works, type in "funner" it will say its an error.  Out of like 10 different dictionary sites as well as dictionary books, its not listed.  Not to mention everyone knows "funner" not to be a word.  Just because 1 site has it as some kind of inflected form doesnt mean anything, its still not a word on that site if you do a word lookup.  Even if it was a word you still used it incorrectly.

True it is a great game because the graphics and the people who would get it are FF fans since they wouldn't care on how long it takes to lvl up and the care it that the game is good and fun to play.

I love Final Fantasy, yet I hated Final Fantasy XI.

It doesn't even feel like a Final Fantasy.  Probably because it's online.

Well he hasn't got anything to do except spend all day every day slagging of FFXI to everyone who comes in here.. he thinks he is the only one with an opinion that counts and thinks everyone should have it. He probably has a god complex and if he ever gets a family will be a shit dad because he wont listen to them treat them as human beings or come to a compramise.

Although he will never get a wife and kids cos he spends all his time slagging of FFXI

I like the game so far, very ff like i think... if i decide i don't like it one day i certainly wont waste my time responding to ever message about how much i hate.. but then.. i have a life.

Personal attacks? You slag off anyone who likes the game.. so don't talk to me about personal attacks. And yeah ur wife may be pretty hot, but then again you could be lying. Besides you probably have to say she is otherwise she might get ya.

As for being Childish... whats more childish? Me saying that all you do is constatnly respond to FFXI posts with flames cos u have no life... or some one who cosntantly responds to every post about FFXI with how shit it is? For hating this game so much these trolls sure love to hang around it's boards. You would think they would distance themselves from it but I guess its not as bad as they claim since they cannot bear to seperate themselves from it.

Ok i have given this game a 3 week chance and i think im going to quit because it SUCKS. 

1. New jobs you have to lvl all over again, and that take s too much time

2. Controlls/UI and the feeling of community is crappy.

3. Not even half as good as EQ was...... (God why did i buy FFX11 once my eq acct was hacked)

4. Signets, nuff said on that one.

Bah, he'll be back.  You want an opinion you say?  OK, for the 100th time, apparently you missed it somehow.  The character customization sucks, the combat system blows, the mob variety... there is none, everyone looks the same, same armor, same weapons... no variety, the characters look too pansified, linkshells are a crappy version of guilds, people spend hours looking for a group, when you do get a group you cant group with anyone more than 1 lvl above or below you or it borks exp, sub jobs are retarded - Oh yay, I get to start all over killing the same worthless turtles for hours on end, cant get a group if no subjob, buffbots, lack of being able to own transportation, game is based way too much on farming and exp grinding.  Im sure theres more but it gives me a headache.
