How do i take in game footage?

Was wanting to do some in game footage of games i play and was wondering if any 1 knew of a way to do this.

    The only video recording program I know of is Fraps, you have to d/l it at their website *google it*

    Unfortunately it costs money to get the full d/l, the trial only allows 60 second recording with less than good framerate.

    Theirs other programs I belive, i just havent heard of them.

    Depends on which game you want to record. Some games have build in recorder that allows you to save into .avi but FRAPS is the answer to easy solution. Its cheap, download the trial and if you like, register it into full version.

    I think theree is also a program called gamecam. Give it a shot, its a nice alternative to fraps.
