lol... many people think that Fury graphics (on high-render) is the best MMO graphics currently available. Calling the game graphics as crap only reflects your opinion, not everyone else's. I really loved the graphics of this game, it's my personal opinion.

    Hi freakomar,

What graphics card do you have?

I can assure you that the screenshots we release are genuine, taken in-game. They're taken on a high end machine, granted, but I get very nearly equal quality graphics from my work PC running a 7900 GT.

Unfortunately my friend and I uninstalled Fury do to the fact that the gameplay is too irregular within blood bath instances. This game seems to lean towards a flavor of the month build mentality which is too frustrating. PvP in mmo's is on a decline and has been since WoW's battlegrounds. Most people are sick of leveling a character, making a build only having to change it every time the devs rebalance the game.

We just joined up in Tabula and are loving it and invited 2 friends 1 from DDO and the other from WoW to give it a try and they are loving it. I'm keeping my PvP in games like Quake wars and Planetside.

Well a lot of these post were made well over a month b4 the game was due to be released, and all so far in the games BETA stage. I just dont get why some ppl feel they need to share w/ us thier negative views on a game when things are still being tweeked and tested. Especially to those who only play for a short time, or some where the fact that they have played at all is even debatable. Im not making any personal attacks on anyone in particular, those that have tested the game for what it is will know the difference.

The screen shots available are a fair indication on how the graphics in the game look, and i can vouch for this as i played it on a high end machine. i thought the game looked great. Not to mention the fact a Fury Dev has put his word on the line so that ppl aren't misinformed about its status.

In this technological industry you expect a time when an older machine will become outdated and not play a brand new game at full specs, or as efficiently as older games. I dont see that as an excuse to flame a game lol.

I'll admit, the game had bugs, some skills were, at a time over powered compared to others, but that is BETA. I saw improvements while I participated and expected them to be fixed, and in Aurans favour, they were.

As for "button mashing" well thats just how some ppl play. I saw button mashes win fights and even found myself doing it at times but i was often beaten by someone who had more skill and timing to thier attacks. It wasn't untill i developed some knowledge of skills, as well as skill and timing in my own game play, that i started to enjoy myself more and win fights.

Ive tried to give a non biased view on the game, whether i have achieved it or not you can check out screen shots, reviews and of course make your own opinion about Fury. I for 1 will be a casual player due to the fact that i have the option to subscribe or not, and i will enjoy it for what I think it is....

a fresh new FPS style PvP mmorpg.

    Hopefully thats more constructive.

    cheers

    Rexx

You should not be affected as badly by balance changes in Fury as everyone has access to all abilities.  Plus, the leveling in Fury is minor as you have much freedom of builds and classes.  I agree that it takes quite a while to become good in Fury.  I am still not there yet but I remember when I started playing the Battlefield series I did not make it into the top 10 for a while either.

Tabula Rasa is a good game and I will be playing it as well but it is quite different than Fury.  To me playing against another Player regardless of the game is much more challenging than playing against bots or MOBs.  Game Developers can not make MOBs more intelligent than even the most basic human Player.

In most games I play casters. I myself think the instant casting will make the game horrible. I watched  a couple clips of people just spamming the same spell like 50 times. Also If all spells are instant than that must mean they do less damage I am guessing? Casters=damage

With out casting bars you are just asking for button spamming.

    Casting Bar, FTW

I think people don't actually realize that in structured Pvp you're going to have a paradox. To combat staleness, overpowered characters and the initial Flavor of the month, your going to have to balance and re balance.
This in turn causes a new flavor of the month.

It's no different in shooters either that have classes. SAME thing just different lvl. How many times in any of the Battlefield series did you come back after death as a different class with what you thought were better guns? Didn't make your skill go up a notch, but you thought it would.

From what I can tell, a huge portion of humans will try to take the easier road to minimize presumed risk.

For anyone who didn't get the memo, the OP of this thread is a total fake.
The game is not click to drag (lies).
They then made another post with their system specs which were ripped directly off a website.
Obviously there are some spiteful biased people out there.

If you're thinking about trying this game out:

1> Make sure your system can handle it first!
And by that I don't mean do you run SLI/Crossfire or do you play WoW on high settings. You need at least 1.5 GB RAM (2GB is Min for me), 256MB gfx card,XP (Vista still has some problems and is a total RAM hog) and Dual Core works best IMO.

2> All players will start out at rank cap (1000 EP) as they removed the player ranking system (no more grind). However you'll still need to unlock abilities by doing some PVP. Make sure you have a good go at unlocking more abilities and making a few different builds. Theres nothing to lose.

3> If you are forced to run in Low Render due to your PC's inability to run the game in high end mode, do not expect to see beautiful graphics. The low end renderer was added so you could play on a not so upto date system but not so the game could look nice.

4> If you need some advice on your build ingame, look for some helpful players and chat to them. They do exist.
5> Any further questions are best made on the OFFICIAL FURY FORUMS where you will get HONEST answers unlike here.

    Just some tips.
Fury PVP Rocks once you figure it out.

I couldnt agree more with A55A5IN.

The game is flexible, fast, combines MMORPG and FPS styles, everyone starts the same, no grinding.

    Try it if you can...

While I think there's lots of noise on mmorpg.com, and sometimes even downright faulty information about a game posted by people who barely even know what they are talking about, I also believe that an official or fan forum isn't the place to get an unbiased view either.

Ummm why? It's not like they praise the game there, there are also lots of bashing going on in official beta sites. The devs respond to them and clarify some points.

And unlike WoW forums, in Fury official site, community managers do not remove your posts and ban you :P

'Clarify' is not unbiased per se :) And it's not only the devs that answer. It's mostly other players. And it's sometimes just as noisy as on these forums, but just the other way around.

I like it. Has a few rough spots but enjoyable nonetheless. Alot more fun than wow's 'pvp'. Will it hold my attention over tcos or WAR? No, highly unlikely with tcos and I KNOW from **** that war is better.

Also a system hog but on my new rig looks pretty damn nice. If you pc can handle it give it a shot, coz it's no where near the way the haters describe it. Though if your a wow fanboi can pretty much say - stay away, this isn't your thing.

It's a good game and well worth playing even if like me ur just in need of a filler till war/tcos/aoc etc comes out.
