Well it all really depends on what type of games you like. This game is a blood fest. 75% of the time you'll leave your enemy dead on the floor cut in half or its head chopped off. This game also has no customization whatsoever. But you know what, no one really cares. Cause alot of the time your wearing armor, so you can't really see your clothes or hair. The weapons in my opinion look awesome. Every sword is different (unless you have an upgraded version of the sword) in every little pixel. I really recommened trying this game. At first it may be a bit boring, but trust me, you'll learn to like this game. And if your going to download it, download it from FileShack.com because they have SUPER fast downloads.

If you like games where you basically kill the same type of monster for 10 levels, then walk into a different zone to kill 10 types of the monster again to level up.  Then this is your game.  I played this game till lvl 20, and I literally fell asleep once playing it.  It's extremely boring, repetitive, and just a huge grindfest.  The quest's are god ugly and stupid (kill so and so then kill so and so, kill kill).  Funny scripting, but that can't just save the game.  Weapons like the above post said are "okay" kinda like every other grindfest mmo.  I give this game a 3/10, a 3 for the quest scripts.  The rest of the game is complete garbage.

  • It depends on a lot of what kind of games you like. I like the game a lot. Though the game does not get really good until level 34...so fo those of you that played till lvl 20, and didn't like it...thats why. Try the game out, try lots of the aspects...if you still don't like it, quit.

One of my personal favorites of the game is how versatile the Azure Knight is, as in, at the start, he can be anything he wants basically. I'm currently having fun with a two handed axe AK. =p. Intend to later on make a dual wield with axes.

This is game is terrible it is an asian-made grindfest there is no depth, versatility, originality or uniqueness to the gameplay in the least bit.  There is no story line and very limited skills and items.  If you have played Risk Your Life you have played this game just with worse graphics and personally I think better gameplay.  There really isn't anything good about this game at all, don't waste your time.

If you want to play a free MMORPG I recommend Archlord.

    cheers.

Archlord? Please. Archlord has more grinding than my grandma grinds her teeth in her sleep.

  • Yes, I agree...archlord has grind also, but archlord's grinding is not fun. On the other hand, 2moons grinding can be fun.

Iv actually found Archlords grind to be more fun and infact quicker than 2Moons grind so far. Dont get me wrong though, i really like 2Moons.

I find 2Moons to be fun in a simple sort of way. ArchLord I just found simply boring.

OK guys, I have been playing mmorpgs for about 8 years now and to tell you the truth I think this game is absolutely amazing. I have never been addicted to a game like this in a looong time. Its really a shame to look at all these terrible comments on the forum, it makes people have a negative idea before they even play it. To be honest, I almost deleted this game after playing it for a couple of hours because I also thought that it was just really poorly made like Eudeamons or something and solely for the purpose of exploiting item mall. My friend who joined me at the time thought the same thing. However, the next day i played again just for the hell of it, and once I got to the 2nd and 3rd maps away from newbie town and started getting more skills the game became REALLY REALLY good. After u get like lvl 15 or so (just a fews hours) you will find that it is NOT just button mashing like you first thought it was when u only had like 2 skills. I can tell u now, I'm lvl 45 now and ive been completely addicted to this game because after lvl 20 the game really flourishes. Also, that friend i mentioned earlier is still playing it and he is level 42 now and loves it. He has also been playing mmorpgs for almost a decade, including WoW(for 4 yrs).

Once you fight against aggressive monsters(yes i know it sounds very simple) you will find that this gameplay drastically changes and actually becomes intense when there is a fear of actually dying (which makes the noob map terribly boring). Party system is great because theres a shitload of players out there who want to party once u hit lvl 20, and partying is actually fun in this game. Hordes of monsters come at you while you and your party frantically try to keep urselves alive and make the trek to the next town. Now at lvl 40+ i find the grind to be absurdly fun. Oh did you guys know this game has instance dungeon? The first REAL instance dungeon (lvl 34) is amazing, i have never played anything like it in an mmorpg. Its just an entirely new level.  Its like one of the better missions in guild wars put into this game. Theres actually a lot of skill involved when try to stay alive and get through the dungeon before the timer runs out.  At the end of it, you get a sweet reward.

As for the lack of character customization, I really have no problems with it since all of the time you will be wearing a helmet or headgear anyway. The game already has shitloads of armor per class including expansion armor sets you can only get from drops along the way.  Its really good that you can only get one- two sets of armor per few lvls so you can gauge what lvl is the person (very important in PvP stuff or even when u will ask the person to party). Like if i see a certain armor set on someone, and that someone is pking the crap out of everybody, i will run away because i know that set is for people 20 level higher than me.

The class balance seems pretty good, even for pvp. No one class is absurdly overpowered (at least now that is). Also when you PvP you have an innate PvP shield directly proportional to your HP bar. the shield will be depleted when you pvp and then your hp bar following it (then u eventually die).  PK system is very good too. You will only go to jail if u go on a mass killign spree, but if u just kill one person you will turn red w/o having to go to jail if u die. People in game are generally nice, you dont see hordes of Pkers running around killing every newbie in sight.

And..for the grind. The grind in this game is just amazing. No other game allows you to cleave your opponent into a bloody mess. you can party, solo, AoE mob, instance dungeon, quest, commission quest, whatever ur little heart desires. The hit-connect is really well done and whenever ur blow lands, some blood comes off and sparks fly. theres also a shitload of places you can lvl at any given time, unlike other games where at lvl XX you must stay at  this place until ur eyes bleed.. . The grind is only bad when u first start the game because you have no skills, the monsters are stupid looking animals, no party play, and the monsters do not aggro (very important!! imaging playing dynasty warriors where all the enemy armies just stand around and not attack you).

THE MONSTER DESIGNS-> oh my god? once i started killing things around lvl 35 i started to see the style of monsters.. change. They look like they came out of diablo II or something, but in 3D.

Ok anyway. theres my rant. take what u want from it, but i urge you... please do not bash this game if you did not at least fight aggressive monsters, its very important lol. As a last note to leave you with, at my level i do not even pay attention to by experience bar most of the time, since depending on where u level the battle can be very intense and you have to be very focused on what you are doing.

Above Is A Review Already Posted

    My Idea So Far :

    2moons: A Players Paradise Indeed.

I started playing this game a few days back. What can I say? Just that it’s a simple, less complicated awesome game. This is the first game with a balanced PvP gaming. Do not know about the grinding as playing this game, time passes in a blink. Much monsters, many dungeons, much solo stuff, many party stuff and many skills.

You can go higher stuff killing and with a bit of luck you can well power level by soloing too. The game begins in a bit of low pace but once you are well passed level 10 or so the game takes pace and after that it’s no looking back.Almost made to level 35ish in about 3 days of game play and for not a single moment it was that nagging same monster killing unless it is a quest.

Started with all the characters that could be selected. Liked knight and hunter and vicious summoner but later on had much fun playing the healing character called segenale if I remember right.

Beginner’s castles had monsters and around 4 bosses and many quests including a new-by-maze known as instance dungeon. Instance dungeon is all about killing fast and it’s a solo quest and it’s a fun part of the starting level. Then leveled a bit in Den Of Norak. Not too deep but quite good xp. Later leveled a bit more in Castor and then after 25, leveled in Denebe , Parca Castle Outskirts and then frozen Valley Of Venegence.

Did much PvP and did much player killing. Joined a guild got some good stuff, made lot of friends and played in so many parties that time passed like a blink.

The game has the option of using the same character in 5 servers and this gives you the ability to reduce lag during game play and avoid crowded areas by changing the server.Soulbane server is the most populated server compared to the other servers.

The stat distribution and the skill up-gradation is very refreshing change and the simplicity of the glow-weapon creation makes the game a breeze to play along.

This game do not have a problem in reaching from one place to another as you can use the WASD keys and the heal pots ( F1/F2/F3 ) to make your running through higher level mob areas easy.

Lot of content yet to be added and the number of players available for playing along is quite amazing. The item-shop does not dictate the game much unlike the other item shop based free to play games.

Economy is not that bad as the higher you go the general coin collection of killing gives much fund and the drops are well not that scanty. Storage is a bit of item-shop driven thing but then again you can sell most of the stuff in your own shops.

High level players are generous to give coins for shopping and to help out in tough quests if any.

Indeed a good game. I fully agree with the the above review.

    Cheers

This is pretty much the worst game ever. Yeah, the promo stuff is real good, makes it look good, but once you get in to the game.....suckfest.

  • SourajitSourajit Member UncommonPosts: 472

Well , yes it is a bit grind after you hit level 40 and if the dungeon disconnects you and the problem is not solved by even changing servers  as is the case with me. But on the other hand there is this PvP and the Pk options that you can have fun with for a while. Frankly I am out of this game and trying the tabula rasa beta lately. But i still have the client and won't mind to go for a bit of PvP and Pk if i get time to have fun.

    Cheers.

This is a good game depending on how much time u like to spend trying to lvl a person up. I have a lvl 19 hunter and it took me a while to do that. so this is a time consuming game but its worth it depending if u like this type of mmorpg. but i'll give it a 8/10
