i was addicted playing ragnarok before, during that time i create for each character and played. . that was my longest game that i played. .

I feel shamed to admit it. But the game that got me addicted to MMOs was Runescape. I was an avid anti computer game player. You couldn't convince me that computer games were better than console ones. Then I was bored and tried out the silly looking little game. Skip ahead almost a year and I could mine and make rune armour. Guild Wars was after that, Then Horizons. Then was, and still am lost in Eve now for almost 2 years. Funny thing is now I barely play my PS2 or PS3 unless a new RPG comes out

I put well over 200 hours into FFXII. I did just about everything I could do and had all of my characters leveled to 99.

As for Online games, FFXI by far. When I was done I had well over 3 months play time and I only played it for 7 months.

tried all others and found all to be lacking where everquest wasnt so I returned.

first games to get me adicted was Baldurs gate.. and baldurs gate II then came the elder schrolls III morrowind... and after that SWG.. and later on wow wich i stoppwed with now im awaiting something totallyb different...  not AoC or wahammer.

RPG - played some on nintendo, but FF2(FF4) is the one that started my addiction

Strategy - Romance of the 3 kingdoms 3.. ive logged more hours playing that than any other game, MMo's included

Turn-based Strategy - Warsong for genesis.. super underrated games.. Shining force had a hand in there too

RTS - Warcraft 2... For the horde.. right-o.. were there any before this? really?

MMORPG - good ol' UO.. ive plaey em since, but none hook me like that one did.

Oh yeah, cant forgot the one that started it all for me... super mario bros/duck hunt

The game that got me truely addicted to MMORPG style games is World of Warcraft.

I actualy played Dark Age of Camelot before I played WoW, but didn't get into MMORGPs for some reason - but, then played WoW and now I like several differnet ones.

Currently playing World of Warcraft, Everquest 2, and a few other free ones.

Belive it or not im a runescape junkie up untill last night when my level 100 toon was banned for buying gold

any one no anthoer game like runescape ,ive been looking and i cant find nothing close to them , i could just start runeagain but after u get that hi and ge erased  like they done me i just done wanna waiste anymore time on there unless i have gold or items so if any of you are rs mems lemme no and hook me up lol if not just gimmie a site just like them

Also what i liked about RuneScape  so much is (since i seemed to have left it out up there is) there is 24 different skills to train in all going from 1-99 with you receive skill capes once you hit 99(which is no easy task what so ever) but  that is what im looking for in a game . I am horrible at games where i have to choose a race,bloodline,creed etc i just wanna choose white  and male and start at it but i cant find a twin or better game of rune then rune im sure theres somthing out there where they stiole their idea and maybe its less strict.because rune is a touch me not lol ..

 

they stra out every thing like phone,call,cuss words of course -except hell and belive it or not u can say GD which blew my mind, u cant say suck or alot of others lol  some one help me and find me a game that suites me plz  because i lived on rune like 12-16hrs aday and now i need to feel this void i have and i cant find crud

WoW was my first MMORPG and i was very addicted... played from the open beta upto TBC from morning until night. Never missed a raid except for when i went on holidays and even then i'd log on to check the dkp sheet to see what dropped and who got it.

Funnily enough it was easy to quit on TBC as i was one of the ones who'd put an awful lot of effort in to get to where i was and it all went to waste. Stopped overnight and never looked back.

Finding it hard to find something new, but i'm always on the lookout

DAOC was my first MMO.. Addicted and played 4+ hours a day for nearly 2 years. Then it was WOW for  a while, I enjoyed it but I kept yearning for the DAOC RVR, went back to DAOC a couple of times but the pop had dropped significantly and I just couldent get back in it. I played EVE for a year and enjoyed that, but 2 bships got blowed up  in 1 day and I had like 3,000 isk to my name and said fux that, not gonna even bother trying to pay for that again. Now im thouroughly addicted to EQ2, no good pvp, but the lore and community and game play have me hooked.

I was truly addicted to Pristontale when it came out.  It was the first full 3D RPG that had nice graphics.  The monsters were cool and the game was challenging.  I told my friends about it and they got hooked on it mor than me.  It has 8 classes to choose from which is a good number and the skills looked badazz.  I still like it but dont have time to play it anymore and Pristontale2 is coming out soon supposedly...

Medal of Honour a.k.a MoH:AA, first person shooter, played it for 2-3 years even before i knew what an MMORPG was.

WoW, played it for 18 months. Never really enjoyed it as much as the other games, but they got old and boring.
