Chapter 1: Wax On, Wax Off.

I gotta start by saying the 'I can play computer games all day every day' era of my life ended many many years ago about the same time I lost my virginity :P (the only exception being an annual install of Fallout 2 or Baldurs gate 2, then I may well just dissapear for a month happily neglecting my woman, close friends and family).

I discovered this game a few days ago, and downloaded it solely for the option to be a member of the Wu Tang Clan (no my character is not named after any of them im sure there are thousands of RZA's GZA's and Ol' Dirty B*******'s already playing so I kept some originality )

So far it's pretty awesome.  I've made it to lvl 35 fairly quickly and I'm pretty hooked  currently spending mauling and/or being mauled by bears. The grinding isnt too painfull at all compared to a lot of rpg's out there, the enemies are colour coded to determine their difficuly and i seem to lvl up after killing around 50 or so moderate (Yellow/Orange) opponants. Players Kung Fu moves can take a lot longer to lvl up but it's all good. Lots of skills, moves and weapons to specialise in and initially 6 clans to choose from, but why you would bother with a guild *not* called the Wu Tang Clan is beyond me :P

Ok in keeping with Ying Yang tradition I should find some negative things to say about it erm... well... I guess theres the shameless in game advertising by Acclaim, that can be annoying but its brief at least. I'll write an update in a couple of months if I'm still playing or if I quit in disgust for some reason as it's early days for me yet so I've not had time to find the faults with it.

P.s When you think of Acclaim concentrate on the good ol Mega Drive days of Mortal Kombat and NBA Jam and later on that X-Men game. Not the pony days of Juiced, various wrestling  and  BMX games (In my humble opinion, You wanna ride a bike go out and ride one. You wanna stick a grown mans head between your legs... well each to their own I guess) now that Disney own it  would anyone else like to see Mickey and Donald team up with Turok?

I downloaded it but whenever i go to sign in on the site, the little clock thing comes up and it wont load.. this game is seriously screwed up.. great graphiccs, good game, but Indy21 doesnt know how to make a web site...
