Diary of a noob

Hi, I downloaded this game after someone name dropped it in the lobby of another game (Gunz maybe?) and although it does seem to be popular with a lot of people I couldn't really get along with it. I'm sure if I invested some more time and effort into the game I would enjoy it but I just dont have the time for hardcore gaming these days which is one of 2 reasons for not having tried out any pay to play  games (the other being that I would feel a right mug paying a monthly fee)

I'm probably just repeating what has already been said and argued to death in other threads but what the hey.

First of all, yeah, you do need a high speed connection to play otherwise you will find yourself unable to join a fair few games. Another is the fact that its all PVP. I loves me PVP as much as the next man just not as the whole concept of a game I much preferred the team based games like the Golem scenario to an all out deathmatch. Also I'm not too proud to say  that I wasnt particularly good at it either :P . 'Stop moaning and find another game then' you say. Calm down love, I did. This is just my humble opinion and it *is* allowed to differ from yours.

In its defence though it is a bold game with some truly great concepts. It just wasnt for me is all. Oh and I prefer my blacksmiths to just fix and sell my equipment in the traditional manner, not chasing me round a cavern with a flail :P

Still lots of you love it and that many people cant be wrong, just ask the Nazi's :P
