Hey all,
anyone knows how big the areas will be? I used to play Anarchy Online which has a huge map... will you be able to travel to your friends if you play orc but your friends play chaos?
Can you fight with them or at least be in one guild with them?
Can you walk around with your lvl 40 orc (maximum lvl) and just feel proud of it without just being involved within the tier 1 - 4 tiers? (battleareas) I just wonder how small the map would be if there are just those 4 tiers...
Thanks in advance

From what I've read and heard you will be able to travel to other races within your faction fairly early in the game (but it's a rather long - and possibly risky (?) - walk), team up and be in a guild with them. I don't know about the rest...pretty much speculation at this point since info from the beta testers obviously isn't available yet.
If I remember correctly it was something like 10 minutes to get to the first Warcamp if you know where you're going. Then you will take some form of transportation to your friends first warcamp then backtrack to the noob starter zone. If you don't know where the Warcamp is though, I believe it was something like 10 hours of gameplay to get to it.
As far as the OP's first two questions go, they have said that there are teleporters to the other races zones on the same side (side meaning destruction or order), and that you can group and form guilds with them. So by that I assume that it will be sort of like WoW, in that orcs, goblins, chaos, and dark elves can all be in the same guild.
To answer the third question, a friend of mine whom attended the Gamesday event said that when he viewed the area maps they were rather large.
Hope that helps some

Yes, you can meet up with you friends as long as they are on the same side of the war. Thus, if you are a greenskin you can travel to Chaos territory and put the smack down on some warrior priests (or, more appropriately, whimper when the warrior priests put the smack down on you ).
I've just seen the zones at some trade shows and from my brief experience with the game they seem to be plenty large. Not as large as some AO zones but large enough for people to be able to spread about.
Okay thanks for the quick reply!
