Questions on appearance, equipment, and stats

Hi everyone,

I just started SoNW yesterday. I have a few questions.

I was wondering how I can change my characters' appearance? Is it through equipment or only cash shop items/costumes? I changed armor several times but my characters still look exactly the same as when I just created them.

Another question I have is what is the difference between blue and yellow items? Some item names are displayed in yellow, while some are blue, and some are grayed out in the shops on my inventory list. I also cannot equip this item called a "knuckle". An error pops up that says "cannot find correct player" or something like that when I try to equip it.

Last question: Is there a reason why my character stats don't improve (except HP and MP) when they level up? My level 12 characters have the same stats as when they were level 1. Do I gain anything from leveling, or is it just for enabling equipping better equips?

Thanks for any input.

Your appearance doesn't change because K2Network doesn't want you to change how you look.  In the original GE it changed based on what you equipped, or if you had a costume on it would be that.  But K2 opted to have no change at all and give you 12 choices at the beginning, then forgot to get around to offering costumes in-game.

Blue, Yellow, Purple, Green, and White are weapon grades.  The more powerful grades have more stats on them or have a higher attack power for thier level.

Stats determine your growth.  Passed 100 you can put points into stats, and each point makes a huge difference on your power.

    Thanks for the reply.

So that means there are no available costumes right now?

Also, I heard that the quarters size can be increased (from the basic 4 character slot to 9 slots), and that all four quarters can be unlocked. Can you tell me how this can be done?

You go to Domingo in the City of Rabeldoux.  You can increase your barracks slot to 36.  You can make new characters like the recruitable NPCs by making a new character and choosing them.

Got it. Both Domingo and Lyndon provide the same service right?
