I gave up trying to interpret the poor grammar of the NPCs, and I don't want to break the weapon I just got, as it's pretty good for my level. After + what do weapons and other items start breaking? My weapon is +4 right now and the "success rate" still says 100% when I put it in for +5. If I remember correctly someone had said that from +4 to +5 there is a high chance of failure.

from +4 on when u try to upgrade yr weapon or armor
it have high chance to break
most of the time i tried is 1 out of 5 or 6 can work
