Hard to get good stuff/money in this game?

Is it hard to get good items in this game (like does it require a LOT of grinding)? How hard is it to make money in this game? I am asking this because I hate games that takes a load out of you and you accomplish a little. I don't mind slow lvling but I do mind the items. Are there any fast ways to make money in this?

    When I played, it was really hard. Don't know about now because they have a cash shop.. If you are one of those that paypal for in-game money then maybe you can get some easy money.
