Help new to this and cant find the right game to play.

Hi and thanks for reading this. Am new to online gameing and cant find the right game for me. Is there one that has games play like say Stronghold or Dune. A game where you build an empire and command armys rather than be an individual in one. I have played tribal wars and war of empires but they are a bit boring when it comes to grapics. I dont mind a big game download, is that what thay call a client download. Thanks to for any input and maybe all see you around in binary world. take care Paul from London.
