Tabula Rasa is now number 1 rated MMO on this website.

Before I get the "So? That doesn't mean anything" posts ... What this MEANS is that the ratio of people that like the game, to the ratio of people that hate the game (or havent played it and just vote it a 0) is higher.

In short: Tabula Rasa has more fans than haters.

All I can say is congratulations!

Cant wait for a trial really :)

During beta I rated it a 7/10 (an 8/10 isn't that far off) based on beta impressions. I knew that the game deserved that 7 as it has a lot of potential. Sadly, the class balance post level 30 got borked during october crunch and turned me off to it temporarily. I'll come back in 3 months and check it out as I think there will have been enough time to fix those issues.

I been devoting more time to HGL than TR, but I can tell you one thing. This game is pretty fun as well and enjoying it alot. I dont know how long I can pull off 2 new games that were released, but I think I will manage as a casual player.

Now Call of Duty 4 is out as well. Now I am in big trouble!

But my first real day of playing (got the game last night) started playing at about 2pm, looked at my clock a "hour" later (so I thought) and it was already 8 pm. No MMORPG has done that to me, and I've played many. And its one of the few games of any genre thats have had that happen with me. Tabula Rasa is a lot of fun, combat is fun and I love the setting. I can see myself playing a long time, and I rarely say that when I start a mmorpg. I even was able to do a few control point Bane raids, that was lots of fun...I died a lot.
Anyways, sorry for using up your thread...I thought this would be a good thread to put it in.
I'm glad to see Tabula Rasa on the top list:)
yep, same here.  i haven't had this sense of immersion since my first MMO (eqoa!!!) and WoW a few years back.

    thank you TR!!!

btw, i really don't want YOU to play until there is absolutely no lag for me!! hahaha.  i want to run max settings with 30+ fps during bane defense/assaults!

I'll admit I was pretty skeptical about this game when I first looked at it.  I pre-ordered to get into the beta on the advise of a friend.  I hardly played beyond the tutorial in beta, and I'll admit I didn't think much of the game at the time.

However now that it has launched and I have had some time to actually sit down and play, I have to say I am enjoying the game quite a bit.  There is a load of stuff I could on about that I like about the game, and to be honest there are some things I wish the game had, but currently doesn't.  Overall I think its a pretty damn good game and it has a decent shot at being a successful MMO.

I've bought and tried a lot of MMOs over the years and for a lot of them I almost regret wasting the money.  This one is not one of those.  I recommed giving it a try to anyone looking for something new or looking to take a break from a current MMO.

Yes, its great to see a scifi title up there in the over saturated fantasy mmo market.

I agree that is does say that at least the initial reaction to the game is an overall positive one.  Just look what happened when Fury released.  It has barely stayed afloat above 6.0, boasting countless complaints and disdain from players.  On a tentative note however, I have to point out that Auto Assault also retained a rather high rating here for its first few weeks, and we all know what happened there.  I'm not saying it will happen to TR, and I hope it doesn't.  I don't need to have wasted another $50 like I did on AA...

I agree with you brihtwulf, and I have been there especially with AA.  I was initially stoked about AA, picked it up first day and dove in head first.  It was a different experience the first day around, but it quickly lost its charm by the end of the week.  Alot of it though had to do with bugs, and poor performance, and to me offered little variety to keep me interested.

I too was skeptical about picking up TR especially after AA, and all the negative reviews from beta testers... perhaps I'm a sucker but I needed to try it for myself.  TR on pre-release would be what I consider the opposite of what AA was.  There is variety, interaction, a playable well crafted world.  I dunno, for me I got a whole other feeling about TR than I did when I played AA.

As for the first week "high", sure ratings will be changing over the next few months like most games.  Who knows, maybe even Fury could make its way back up the charts if needed improvements were made.

I am just happy to see so many others just as excited as I am about TR.  Like so many have said in General Chat "Finallly a game that excites me again."

It is just nice to see so many people excited about it, especially when during the beta period there were so many people saying

'I haven't played this yet, but I hear it sucks.'

Once you play it, you realize there is something incredibly fun about it. I just hope it continues to expand and grow and hopefully it will be around for a while.

Just keep submitting your feedback to the devs!

I agree, playing the beta my mind was constantly revolving around "Pffft its a beta, just gonna kill one or two things and go play LOTRO or something"

Next time I know, i'd been playing 6 hours. Wtf?

Later, okay Tabula Rasa is an ok game (This was my thought during BETA!.... But if its an ok game, why did I log in again? lol) and then i said meh whatever its stupid. OMG! another 5 hours.

The game is really addictive, towards the end of beta I fell in love with it. Though im not buying it till another 1-3 months, but i wanna try it out for sure.
