DONT PLAY THIS GAME ITS A SCAM

I  have played this game for a year , and now i quit cause the servers are full of bots , in town gold spawmers , takes so much time to level up unless you use a bot wich i will never do .

 

Joyax says they will ban bots but they never do , if you never played this game , choose another one , its a dead end game .

yet you had one year of fun? Also does not really sound like an "scam". I do agree bots are annoying and do ruin the game.

its true i loved the first 6 months but  when the servers got crowded , couldnt log in even if i had a gold ticket and a pet wich i payed for wich i payed for and couldnt enjoy ....sounds more  like a scam to me and those botters with all there gear get to lvl 80 in 2 months without playing .

 

also those bots kissing all mobs and laughing at you because your not using a bot , sounds like a scam to me , i quit going to another game .

 

finally this means use a bot or die (the joyhax way of gaming)

this game is not a scam okay....i played it over

and over again...i agree the bots are annoying...by the way botting is not the only way to level...they

have item mall where u can buy a exp helper..(there are exp helper that are 40% exp or 100%

exp) so thats not scamming...plus the only reason why the servers are always crowded in the morning is because this is a worldwide game

so...if u get on around the morning ( like 6am) it would be crowded cuz on the western hemisphere its like day time...but if u get on at like

noon the servers are empty bascially...(populated)..so dude dont say things that you dont

EXCELLENT...JUST BE CAREFUL CUZ...IF U PK SOMEONE...well u'll see wut i mean once u hit lvl 20 and start pking lol..

I love this game i play this game, 7 Months i think... Its true that you passed lvl 20 its really slow to level up, but there are legal bots than its not illigal to put a bot on your character. I play without a bot my character is lvl 30 but i ruin myself with potions

When you passed lvl 80 its really nice to play this game because in the high level you have more to do as in the other low level^^

If you feel the compulsion to use a bot to control your main character and have the game play while your not at it, you may not be aware of it but, you don't like this game.

i wouldn't say this game is a scam, but it definatly suks. awfull questing, and yes, botters are horrible.

The company is a shameless money grabbing one and makes the game quite tedious to play if you're planning to play it free. It takes the fun out of it in many aspects but mostly I think they're trying to do the least possible to better the game and enjoyment of players and to leech off as much cash as possible from players who want to enjoy it.

Just my opinion.

I think you've joined the Silkroad very late, then you would know that joymax massively ban the botters and spammers several times. 



and the lvling up should be a problem, cuz thats a challange of the game. or you can better stop playing rpg, mmorpg's and go study in First person shooters [multiplayer], tip:  COD4 [but you do have to lvl here], Counter strike source, Medal of honor airbourne.

I spent two weeks with SRO (lvl 29), and have decided it is not for me. At least it was free, so I consider it a demo.



I like MMORPG games in general, especially questing and doing tradeskills and hunting. But they often require you to spend more time with it than what is good for your health. SRO is no different. It is probably more time demanding than the average MMORPG game, even.



I am currently trying out another F2P which is more slow paced and has decent quests where I feel I do something actually useful and contributes. I do not wish to share my opinion on the quests in SRO, but it was not my taste.

Good things about SRO:



- Very nice combat. I did not PvP much, did 3 PK's and spent forever being rez-killed to get rid of the "murderer" tag.

- As an archer, I felt powerful when my special combos went off.

- SRO has a certain sense of humor in it, which is nice.

- The graphics is very nice IMHO, it shows that they are artists.

- The skill system is the usual wet dream for geeks, and a challenge.

SRO seems to have certain qualities that makes it somewhat unique. Judging from the feedback from the player base, the developers are not doing a good enough job with it, though. I must admit I hesitated when I read the official forum before I started playing, but then again just about all games with their own forums have users using big words, harsh language and even threats when they are not completely satisfied. It is pathetic, but they will never go away, just like bots won't, as long as game credits can be exchanged for real money. Anarchy Online has bot users, WoW has bot users, EVE Online has it I think, Second Life has it for sure, e.t.c. There are different kind of bot users, not all are cheating scum after all. I refuse to draw that picture in black and white only.



The other F2P game I am trying out now is still in open beta, but looks very nice so far. The english translations are horrible and makes me shrug ever now and then, but the overall feeling is great and I think I may eventually put money into it even though it is pretty clear that bots are already on their way to invade that game too, as they did SRO. Sad but true.



I really hope that JoyMax will finally get rid of the bots in SRO, but on the other hand that will most likely mean losing a lot of paying players in the process. I appreciate MMORPG-games that are free to play, so I don't feel like I have to play to take advantage of the money I put into it every month. Have fun with SRO!
