Santas in Australia are being told to say "Ha ha ha" and not to say "Ho ho ho" because it's offensive to women???? Is this a regular occurrence over there? do grown women sit on Santa's lap during christmas season????

In that same page there are links to other related stories, one such story they're asking all Santa's to lose weight to set a good example. My first thought was "WTF???" When I was a kid Santa was fat and he was jolly and I wouldn't want it any other way. When are people going to stop whining about trivial stuff??? Seriously!!! People really need to stop these stupid sopa box crusades and do something more productive with your lives.

You want to set a good role model for your child, start at home!

It is unbelievable.  It is not almost unbelievable.  It is unbelievable because "ho ho ho!" and being forced to say "ha ha ha" because it might be offensive as a concept could only be conceived by the most bitter busy-body on the face of the earth!

I feel you, so what the hell can we do about it? Many cultures influenced different meanings and such that almost everybody goes by. What I'm sayin is no specific culture should be brought down about the word, because it might be the one that started it.
