After receiving a buddy key I started to download the patches, but for some reason at intervals of 5-15mins the patch download cancels and I have to click download again,it's about 4 hours of patching and I cant stay in front of my comp for 4 hours clicking the download button.
I have checked the official forums to find a solution but I had no luck, soo im asking here.Does anyone know a workaround or a possible fix for this issue ?
Im running XP ,and have turned my firewall off.

I had the same issue with EQ2 and MXO, but Vanguard patches just fine. I use vista and I was instructed to set the programs access to admin. Now before this the games wouldn't patch at all... afterwards the patcher worked "better", but it was still stopping every once in a while so I still had to click the download link sometimes.
I suggest you do a clean boot. 1) open up the command prompt Start > Run 2) type in msconfig 3) make sure all programs in the startup tab are cleared. Restart your pc and then try to patch the game.
Norton was also screwing with my matrix download, but it worked after I closed out all running norton programs.
Good luck!

Any chance NOD32 is screwing with the download?
I use NOD32 and no problems. No ploblems with v 2.5 and their new 3.0.

Edit: hmm nm seems you are clicking download. Umm hmm... I don't know. Only other thing would be go to their forums and do a search on the same problem. That is weird. Goodluck I hope it is just a small problem!
