hey guys, my friend wants to get the game, and is wondering how long it take for teh digital download to finish. hes running on cable, says he usually gets about 400-550 kbs during DL's. i started my dl before i went to work one day so i dont know how long it took, thanks

I wouldn't digitally download from EA games. They don't keep the record of your download in their database. And I'm betting with the DRM you can't copy the install file onto a CD or DVD. Buy the game at a store. Now if the game were available on Steam that would be a different story. They keep your transactions on file permanently and you can redownload the game indefinitely.
Agreed, make sure to buy it hardcopy on DVD.
too late lol, i bought mine over ea's store, and they do hav ea new downloader now that keeps a record to a file for 2 years, and i actually already put a backup of it on my PC's 2nd hard drive and on an external so thats been no problem either, im actually very happy with teh digital copy, took like 4 hours to DL but htats really np since i have the external HD. my friend actually just bought it at the store though, if we were smart i would have just given him the hard drive to take home and he could have just copied the files.. duh lol. thanks for the help though.
