After ordering a new holiday beverage from Starbucks, I finally figured out why Starbucks uses Tall, Grande, and Viente for its naming. Its actually quite simple. When you tag any of the names infront of a typical Starbucks beverage, it is impossible to make it sound masculine.
Try it for yourself and order a "Grande Eggnog Latte"

Protip: The simple fact that you are ordering a Latte anything makes you a woman. Or Emo. Maybe both.

Protip II: Dark roasts make you more manly.
