Anyways, Huxley has you pit against NPC's if you choose, but this game isn't a typical MMO, it's an MMOFPS so it will be fun to kill players and that will be most of the game.
This is going to be a piss poor game if it's PvP centred. I already own all the Unreals, Battlefields and Quake Wars etc.
I'm not looking for a second rate version of that for an extra £10 a month.
I want co-operative instances Vs AI and character customisation and development. Exciting enviroments to explore. You can see some in the gametrailers.
I already own countless PvP games vastly superior to that chod you see in the demo's and in-game movies. Honestly, who in his right mind is going to pay money for that?
The cutscenes look pretty good, the game has great potential for storytelling. I hope it lives up to them.
I think there'll obviously be some pve cause there are aliens to hunt and to kill with big ones as bosses (see videos guys), and everybody has to be satifisfied in a mmo...
So pve is considered for this game though i'll appreciate good pvp concepts, cause pvp is the mmos' futur. All great games released or to be released this year are made with a lot of pvp (AOC, WAR... ). Thus i think you've never seen a 100v100 battle in any shooters you've ever played. So i could pay for a game pvp only, especially a shooter, but i won't deny some good endgame pve with guildmates cooperation could be good too.
Let's wait for more infos on this game. I hope like you they didn't forget to go deep in gameplay and social interactions (guilds, craft, housing ... ) and not only in graphism and esthetic...
It's just one step from the sublime to the ridiculous. C9 impatient awaiter
As far as social interactions in the game go, I would say Housing isn't something big they are putting in, I believe I read somewhere that you will get an apartment to store stuff like armor and weapons, but it will be instanced like the FFXI apartments.
(I don't have a link to article, anyone else read this anywhere?)
If a game doesn't have individual player housing, there should at the least be an instanced guild hall or similar structure for a guild to gather all its players at, that would be nice.

What's wrong with a PvP only MMO?

Well I hate non pvp mmo's so I guess its good they make games for everyone.
Huxley will have quests and mobs and even team elite quests at top level(50 i think).
If you really dont like fps pvp honestly huxley is probably not for you, but try it anyways you never know. I tried lotr ... lol
Own, Mine, Defend, Attack, 24/7
