mostly i joined because the group on the SWG board here was a much better group to forum whore with than on the official SWG boards at the time.
Also since the NGE of the mmorpg SWG boards i found the OT here to be worth visiting every few days to vent and rant and occasionally make a point or two on a subject.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.
Serious answer: I was out of forums to troll and happened to stumble upon this. Since then I've been trolling as much as I can and discuss things that have to no meaning at all really.
Way back when I played Everquest for the ps2 I was talking to a guy who mentioned a game that he read about called City of Heroes...it intrigued me and I asked him where he had heard about it...he told me that I could read about it on mmorpg.com...I visited the site a few weeks later and decided to make an account, I didn't start using the forums until a few years later.
Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.
Ahhh i remember my time playing runescape Those were great times =D
Then some idiot stole my char...
Ya same thing happened to me, I used to play runescape alot in my earlier days lol. I couldent believe I fell for it, these guys sit there and say that Jagex blocks your pass when you say it and to try it. I fell for it and lost my lvl 67 char I think it was...
The reason I joined this site though is it was recommended by a person in a forum for another game. So I joined and then rated my game

I had just gotten done with the Guild Wars Beta weekend and was surprised that is wasn't complete crap like every other MMO I had played. So I came here to look up some info on it and see if there was anything else out there that I might be interested in. After looking over the game list, I found the forums....
There wasn't a Guild Wars board at the time, the MMO status of GW was even more controversial back then, so I just went to the Pub. At the time there was thread after thread of FFA PvP assholes yelling "carebear" at any and everyone that dared disagree with them. I was going through a kind of confrontational phase in my life, (10 hour days with no weekends off for six months will do that to you) so I found the most obnoxious asshat and had protracted, flamming, pissing contest.
How long? By the time it was over I was already in the habit of visiting these forums first to see what was going on. I don't do that any more, but I do visit the site at least once a day or every other day.

Same here. With the exception that they closed the beta before I was able to download the game.

Hehe. That happened to me too with the Frontlines Fuel of War closed beta. I got a key for the closed beta but by the time I'd downloaded the client the beta had finished. Luckily I got a new key for the open beta.

You can talk about anything you want on the internet. you cannot, however, talk about anything you want here on a privately owned site.
And as a friendly warning, those things you've listed as reasons you were banned elsewhere will get you banned here as well.

So i can complain about games and post about how awesome Ron Paul is.
I joined for the competitions. What I didn't realise was that you had to be 13 or older to enter them. Then I discovered the forums.
