dark age o camelot or Lineage 2? which one should i get

Well mate that depends on what you are looking for.  Personally I am a daoc addict nad till now no COH, Lineage2, Horizons or whatever has been able to pull me away from it.

Like I said it varies from person to person. A lot of people on here enjoy to have a go at games they didn't really enjoy but almost none of them has anything constructive to say.  I haven't played L2 long enough to form a solid opinion but I do have one about Daoc.  I would say try the free trial (though it kida sucks if SI is not included) but that way you can get a glimpse of what the game is like. Both games are being accused of being a levelgrind but when u get into a guild and u go adventuring it won't be that bad.  IF u are one of these people who wanna level asap and would play day and night soloing to accomplish it then u will have less fun and get bored more quickly.

Whatever u decide I hope u will have heaps of fun playing.

DAoC is a great game.  I hated L2 when i played on beta, but its your choice i would recomend DAoC.

L2 had too many bugs and you can't even swim!! Don't Saw we didn't Warn you.

DAoC. Only reason I say this is because I am still a little bit bitter because of my bad experience with the L2 Open Beta. If you have the oppurtunity for both, hop at that chance, if not DAoC is the way to go because of the better gameplay and such.

 DAoC is a fairly fun game.... Lineage II is horrible.

stay away from DOAC. Bad community. Alot of ppl just cybor it's really sad that ppl go that low. All i can say is wait for Guild Wars, WoW, or EQ2. TOA UNBALANCE AND TOO MUCH CYBOR enough said.

I have been called all sorts of stuff with my female infil inco it's sick. And btw i dont play EQ hole=whole? And also im sure this happens alot in other games but i seen too much of it in DAOC. My guild would have drama just cuz everyone would cybor with each other. But like i said before it's just sad that ppl have to look in games to get off. And when you get a chance look in CS/Albion they are always sitting on top of each other. Enough said i win. Oh wait maybe you will have something childish to tell me again <shrugs>

lol its funny i am a child just becouse i said your a lieing. well you are. what server was this, guild, stuff like that. i been on alot of servers and i never seen this stuff. i never seen anyone cyber or sit on eathother. i dont know when you were playing the game. but when i was this never went on. so do you have anything stupid to say.

I would also have to say to go with DAoC. All though I no longer play it, I very much enjoyed the time I spent playing it. Once you get the hang of it and meet a few fun people to play with, you will know you made the right choice by going with DAoC. But to all his own. I'm sure there are some people out there that would choose L2 over DAoC, so it is really a matter of your own preference.

I have played both extensively... I played DAoC for 2 and a half years... and Lineage 2 since closed beta. Let me tell you, even after Chronicle 1... L2 is a waste of time. All I find myself doing is mindless leveling. Always soloing since its the best form of exp. DAoC is good because grouping is good exp as well and your always having fun with other people. Not to mention RvR and the depth of DAoC is just so much more. Leveling is a bit easier as well and you can have fun and do more than just leveling.

DAoC is a great game and I will probably go back soon hehe.

Oh yeah and about the perverts... there are perverts everywhere... no matter what game you play. Its up to you to avoid them.

Percival and i wont say which guild cuase that will suck but just go into cs in albion and you will see ppl sitting on top of each other and sorry for calling you childish. Great game bad community. PunkRock just make a female toon and im sure youll get hit on and theyll prolly give you money. Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad. And im sure ill experiance this in other games but like i said it happened too much in DAOC.

DAOC is much better than L2, the Realm battles are huge, and you can use huge siege wepons to atack the other realm.. DAOC is worth a try...

I'd say DAoC too, just because it's alot more refined. Loads less bugs in DAoC and alot smoother gameplay from my experience.

What in the hell is that supposed to mean? Get a grammar book, read it, then come back and try again. Here is a little peice of imformation for everyone that is whining about TOA ruining the game. You dont have to BUY or even play in Atlantis, the game is fully functional with out it.

I'd say DAOC.  DAOC is much more mature in it's development, and has few if any bugs, and many polished game systems.  I beta tested L2, and the graphics were a bit nicer, but very much an Anime style.  Grouping was much less polished, interface was point and click to run which caused me a lot of grief.   I can't comment on the L2 community, but the DAOC community can be hit or miss, much as I expect all MMORPGs are.

have a 50 level female toon and a 46 level female both on different servers both good  guilds

still having a ball after all this time

and frankly i had horrid experainces as a female in swg but being active in a large guild in daoc was fun and didn't have to worry bout other things happening

l2 you can pvp fast,  but daoc has battle grounds now for different levels which is fun someone else can list the levels of the battle grounds

I have not played L2 but, based on what I have heard... neither?  Wait for WoW, EQ2, etc?  Before you could really get into RvR in DAOC (grind to 50, ... maybe grind some artis/ToA), they will be out.
