Quite possibly one of the stupidest posters on these boards.
On topic though: I liked that email. I think it's gutsy, they're not actually trying to be mean, it's more of a joke I think. They're assuming though that all the people who quit playing only quit because they kept losing, that might be the case for the majority, but not for me. I quit because the company started failing so I knew there wouldn't be cash prize tournaments like they promised, and there also wasn't enough of a playerbase to make PvP interesting, I didn't enjoy crushing the same people over and over again.

To me it is funny, but if they are trying to get people back into the game then the word "LOSSER" might be a tad bit too strong. They got to make it more like they are challenging you, not like some lvl 67 ten year old in wow going LOSER! The game is pretty sweet even though there is some issues.

It's called unprofessionalism, which this games crew seems to have an abundance of. Do I feel offended being called "loser" by a company that has already filed bankruptcy shortly after launch? Nope. Do I feel perhaps they are showing their immaturity and lack of business sense? Absolutely.

Anyone defending this as a viable marketing strategy needs to have there head checked, most of the people that posted defending that email could barely spell simple words, that speaks volumes about the demographic they are catering to, as well as the fact that they have become extremely desparate and must now pull stunts like this to try to bring in new players.
I started as a hater of this game, bought it and gave it the benefit of the doubt, did very well for the time I did play, am a fan of twitch based pvp, and had all unlocks purchased - in the end why did I quit? because its just not a good game, period.
